Pyle Sound Isolation Recording Booth Shield - 2" Thick Foldable Studio Microphone Dampening Filter Foam Cube, Audio Acoustic Noise Isolator Platform Pads w/ Wedgie Padding, Tripod Base Stand

This filter fits perfectly around my Blue Yeti mic. It takes up much less space on my desk than my last filter, but still does a great job! I particularly like that it leaves space between the filter and the desk, so I can run cords more easily and reach my hands through to my keyboard when needed. It also made it much easier to attach a pop filter. I've attached a few photos of my setup to illustrate.

Using the included hardware I was able to attach this to my Rode NT-USB Condenser Microphone and Eastshining Upgrade Adjustable Microphone Suspension Boom Scissor Arm and I'm happy with both the appearance and performance. Struggled to figure out from reviews if these three components would work together -- luckily for me they did, with minimal fidgeting and adjustment.

Functions as advertised, works well for space limitations. Recommend a larger version for better absorption if you have the space.

I just received the isolation shield today. I set it up and did a few recordings to test it out. I have mine set up with a Blue Yeti mic and will be using it mostly for voiceovers and audiobook recording. I tested it today with the furnace running, which is a sound I have to deal with pretty often in the winter months. Beforehand, I had to wait for the breaks in between when it ran (shutting it off lets the house get way too cold way too quickly), but the shield helped cut back on a lot of the furnace noise, as well as general white noise. I can still hear it when I'm not talking, but it's almost completely unnoticeable when I'm talking, and the rest can be edited out with Audacity.Love it!

I know I gave this four stars in two categories and a three overall, but that is because it wasn’t stable on my desk top. The tripod was light weight, and the actual size of the screen was a bit smaller then was useful for my voice recordings.I ended up returning it.

I bought into the positive reviews and went for it. Aside from the thick foam, the construction of this is very cheap. Think low QC and cheap materials; screws that barely spin into their holes. Maybe I received a repackaged defect? Either way, for the price (at the time of this review, $50) it's absolutely not worth the price.

I've attached my microphone to this, but now it's unusable, as it won't stand up on its own anymore. The stand is tiny, cheap, and didn't have the edges cleaned up and scratched my desktop pretty badly.This is par for the course for Pyle, as the microphone stand was also terrible and slips out of the post because they drilled the hole too big. They sent me a replacement, but it had the same problem, which tells me that they don't pay attention to the quality of their products, and don't actually care about their customers.

Works really well! Eliminated approx 90% of the echo in my home office. I do a lot of webinars and VoIP conferences every day and needed an inexpensive solution vs sound proofing my home office for $000's. This made a huge difference and saved me a ton of money. Very pleased!

easy to assemble, good quality!

Los materiales son de buenas calidad y el ensamblaje está bien hecho, no hay partes móviles ni que vibren a la hora de grabar. No lo utilizo con el tripié integrado pero también es funcional aunque depende del tamaño y el peso del micrófono que se utilice para que no pierda balance y se caiga. Sin embargo todo tiene medidas estándar para usar con otras bases de micrófono y/o accesorios.

Excelente producto cubre lo basico para un pequeño home studio llego completo y en excelente estado perfecto y no pesa nada
