Panasonic 1500W Advanced Titanium Coated Sole Plate, Vertical Steam/Dry Iron, Standard, Blue/White

I like this iron because it's fairly small and lightweight, even when the water level is high. It has two steam settings that work very well and heats up quickly. The water reservoir is easy to fill. It does not have an automatic shut-off and that's a good thing for me. I'm using it mainly to make masks to sell and my previous iron was a "Smart" iron that was extremely annoying because it kept turning off when left idle for 8 minutes. It would also shut off if it was left down on the fabric for 30 seconds so ironing a lot of small pieces of fabric would take longer because I had to keep setting it upright. I specifically picked this one because it was not "Smart".

Just like all Panasonic products. I’m loving it. Big tank for water. Irons all types of clothes well.

Like the fact that it is light weight. Great for seniors or arthritis issues

Big fan of Panasonic irons, this is the third I have purchased, and this one for a gift. The box is damaged and there’s a large unattractive internal Amazon label on the front. Good brand, terrible presentation.

Easy to use

Got this in Jan '20. It still works today, Apr 26th. 👍Now that I've used it a bit, I can submit an honest review. 👌There was shipping humbug with the first one they sent me, it didn't arrive, so I cancelled it.😖 [Last year's holiday mail was 'covid' ridden & I 'lost' several things thru Amazon purchases, so it was easy for me to want it cancelled.] 😷Long story short, the water reservoir is either dark blue ⭕or dark purple ✳, transparent-ish plastic. Water being clear, it is virtually impossible to see 👀🕶🌂 any water 💦 going in or rising up inside. Furthermore, the water level mark is blue... on blue plastic. 🤯The spray feature 🚿 is directly under my thumb 👎 but I wish the steam ♨️ was there instead.The cord is fairly long enough & after the gyro part for 360° turns, there's a pinch/kink prohibiter. 👍It sprays and steams very well.👍I like that the bottom of the hot surface is plenty high so it won't touch anything on the board. In other words, it's got a good foot. 👟So apparently, my review is 'the good foot' which better prevents accidentals vs. auto-shut off feature. Humm, 🤔.I'd go with a different iron that has an auto-shut off. It is worth the money.This review is based upon the need of the buyer. I rarely review items because they get rejected for one reason or another & I get frustrated with them. But, like I started with, 'an honest review' from me. Hope this helps some. Aloha
