Venison Jerky Dog Treats (24 oz)

This particular flavor is much tougher than the other flavors. I usually break each piece in half for my puppy but this flavor is difficult to break up.

This venison is very low in fat anD the dog will do anything to have just one thin small flat piece… they are small for a 90 lb dog but they really work and reduce calorie intake…

My dog LOVES these things! I have a very old, diabetic dog. That means his diet needs to be monitored very carefully with very limited snacks. We give him these as a reward for sitting for his shot twice a day. They are great because of the limited ingredients and he really looks forward to getting them. I would give 5 stars, but the venison is very expensive in comparison to the other flavors and the quality varies from order to order even if I buy from the same amazon vendor. Sometimes the pieces look very fresh and other times seem very dried out and stale. There is also a lot of variance in the size of the cut up pieces from bag to bag, but niether of these things is enough of a concern to switch to a different treat.

I will find in a store for now on. Received the two pack and the pieces were dried up like they were old. Not fresh.
