Not the best quality control...
Not as pictured. I know pieces like these can vary in size and shape somewhat, but the one I got was not as pretty in person. According to my husband (who I showed this necklace to with some initial excitement), it is not immediately recognizable as a "moon." I realized that this is because the crescent is lopsided and the concave portion is not defined enough on this piece. I am returning this one and exchanging it for another. Hopefully the next one is a keeper, but I'll update this review accordingly once I get it. Disappointed, but we'll see. I expected better quality control from a handmade item at this price point!!!

This is simply stunning! I bought this as a gift for my best friend as we are both wiccan. I cannot tell you how much she loved it! I even went and bought one for myself so we matched! The work on this piece is utterly gorgeous!
