I really like this slide didge
I had my beginner pvc didge and a fixed key eucalyptus which sounded much better than the plastic but more challenging to play for the larger mouth piece area. I had been wanting to go to a slide didge for a while now but didn't want the plastic sound of an all plastic one and the wooden slides can be crazy expensive. This combo wooden lower with plastic upper turned out way better than I even expected. It gives me the wooden sound but with the tighter backpressure of the plastic upper. Another bonus was the uniform wooden mouth piece. No need for wax or even the rubber one of my old didges.I was hesitant to buy it thinking that the slide part could leak air eventually and wouldn't work anymore but now I see that that's not a concern, because it's not really pressurized at that point like I was thinking. It's just the sound carrying through. Also to note, the pvc parts look amazingly like wood. That really surprised me how well they were able to do that.In response to a previous reviewer saying that it was just spare parts glued together, I totally disagree. Yes, it is, in fact, in 3 parts. The wooden bell end has the middle pvc part glued into it. Those two are permanently together. The third part is the upper pvc that slides into the middle pvc. It works perfectly or at least mine does. I will say that I would not want to drop it, though, because I would think that the glued joint could possibly break apart if it hit hard enough, but I don't tend to go around dropping didges. So to sum up, I would totally buy this again. I'm really happy with it, and I REALLY love the slide didge aspect and it sounds freaking amazing. I now generally start a session with it in the shortest position until I'm good and warmed up and increase the length from there for richer, deeper drones and more detailed vocals. It's basically an all-in-one didgeridoo, and that's exactly what I was looking for.

Stay away
They said it was a slide didgeridoo, it was just spare parts glued together. Total sham.
