Keeps drinks cold for 9 hours, more if use ice.
Works great to keep water or any liquid cold. I have not tried to put hot coffee or tea in it yet. I wish it came with a carrying case or a handle. I purchased the Nuovo carrying case myself and it works great. Very happy with my purchase. I take it with me to work.

The inside bottom Is painted silver!I grew up using Milton products in India. After coming to USA, it was hard to find good insulated products, as even the popular brands would not be 100% stainless steel or would have painted insides with strong chemical smell.I was so happy to see Milton products on Amazon; that I blindly ordered them, expecting the same excellent quality products that I grew up with. But to my disappointment, and utmost shock, the bottoms of this product which I ordered for my kids to use at school, have silver painted inside bottoms with a strong paint smell.So so so disappointed!

Good Quality Narrow Mouth Not Well Insulated
I bought one of these 1 L stainless steel water bottles in Europe (from a different manufacturer) and really liked it. The European one has a slightly wider mouth and better insulation. This is a decent water bottle but not quite as nice as the other one I purchased. Mouth is narrow, insulation not very good. Cold water warms up pretty fast, e.g. Also, I don't like the fact the O-ring or seal is exposed.
