I had to use this little tool three times since buying it. This is very easy to use and does the job as long as you take the time to align the pins. I am sure in will need to use this in the future and will keep it with other bike tools.

Kinda cheaply made product with less than spectacular material that did its job twice now saving one dude on a trail and me just doing maintenance. Hasn't broke yet lol

Shoddiest tool I have ever seen. If you expect to get a quality tool that will help you break a chain link apart, and put it back together consistently you don't want this tool. I was very lucky that I was able to get one link back together once. I saw elsewhere that it is an absolute necessity that there be no wobble as you are working on the link. This tool was very poorly machined. The wobble was horrendous. I was very careful, and was able to get the tool aligned with the link and sat in fear that with every turn that it would bend or break and I'd have to wait another week for a better tool.Perhaps because of the poor alignment, you needed significant force, more than what could be applied through the cheap plastic tee handle, to break it loose. That handle is now in 4 pieces. I replaced it with a vice grip.Getting the link back together was as hair raising as getting it apart. One hint for those who have one of theses, the grip for holding the tool will slip off, and it exposes a metal bar that is suitable for a second vice grip, and is far better than the grip supplied with the tool.I am debating returning the pieces to Amazon.

Everything appears to be as advertised and it arrived within a few days of ordering. Unfortunately I haven't had a chance to use the tools yet so I cannot speak to how they work or to quality.

Everything worked well except the chain breaker. The threads on it stripped and it became useless. I ended up throwing it away but keeping the other tools for future use. Spend a bit more money and buy a chain breaker made by Park Tools.

It works fine. Easy to use even if you never used one before.

I gave it good marks except for the driver pin that pushes out the pin in the chain link is soft and easy to bend.

The handle of the chain cutter is beefy enough to allow proper holding when turning the knob. The smooth rounded knob also allows easier turning. One thing that needs to improve is the replaceable space thimble is very easy to fall off the cutter.
