I bought it for an installation for an H3 and the 3 small pieces of 3m tape for the gas cap itself was not enough, it would not stick. the cap dimensions are too deep and it doesnt let the tape sit correctly, thank god i had a roll of 3m weather tape, i cut 3 pieces and layered them over the original tape that was it it, then i stuck 3 more pieces inside the cap where the top of the fins would touch. After that it stuck on really well and didnt come off. hope whoever buys it sees this comment or else they will be disappointed when it fly's of their truck on the highway

What they dont tell you is that this is NOT the full houseing for your gas cover. I did need to take apart my old locking door to get the stock insert detached. I painted this matte black, and attached it easily using the 3M tape. It has been durable up to this point and looks GREAT! The gas cap cover however did NOT fit the gas cap that i had. Not sure what is stock, but i didnt need to use it anyway. Overall a great alternative to the stock cover.

Tape did not stick very well. Friend had to put silicone glue to keep in place. The cover came off, but the cap stayed on. Never found the cover of fuel door. Tape was not sticky enough. Wasted $50 +

Looks very shiny. Fit perfectly. Added a little extra glue to secure it firmly.

this product came with no instructions so I didn't feel comfortable pulling apart what I had on my truck without knowing exactly how to install this product. the gas cap was to be tapped on to the existing cap with 2 sided tape but I seamed to have an after market cap that wouldn't work. in the end, I just ordered the original chrome gas cap setup that came on the truck when I purchased it.
