Very ideal for eczema.
I wanted to love this bar so bad when I first purchased it. It took a while to get the hang of using it at first but I found it to be so much easier to use a dish cloth rather than a scrub brush. I simply wet my dishcloth picked up the bar of soap and massaged it. It immediately created a lot suds that cleaned my dishes quickly and effectively, I do dishes three times a day so I let my dishes stack up and I only have to re lather about two times. I don’t like wasting water so I don’t fill my sink up instead I do a quick spray with my hose sprayer to wet the dishes and then rub them clean w the soapy cloth. I did try to do a small batch mixed with water as an option as well but I felt that the soap components separated within a couple of minutes and left my hands feeling greasy and my dishes as well so that was a hard no for me. I’ve been using the bar for 10 days now and it’s almost gone. I am WFH at the moment and my kids have been distance learning as well so as a huge family of 6 this dish block did get overworked in my opinion but I really wished the price per bar wouldn’t be an issue. I still have a few more days of use I assume so hopefully it can at least make it to three weeks of use. I did have days in which I had spots on my glass cups so I started drying my dishes immediately by hand and putting them away to avoid that but I also think that I probably didn’t reapply soap to my cloth because I was trying not to relather my cloth just for a glass cup that day and it goes back to what I assumed was the soap components separating. In the future when I reorder this product I will definitely go with the larger size block because the 6 oz bar will probably not last me for more than two weeks by the way it’s looking. Oh and as for the scent it has a very mild scent almost like the old school bar soaps but it’s more prominent when in use after you can’t even smell it on the dishes but I can smell it on my hands and they also feel moisturized after I’m done w dishes. I suffer from contact dermatitis and haven’t had an outbreak since using this product so that says a lot about it’s ingredients so I will definitely keep this bar soap on the top of my next purchase list after I go through the dish soaps I have now.

Actually makes cleaning up a sensually pleasant experience
I have long loved to cook, and hated cleaning up. But the resistance to cleaning the kitchen counter after baking bread or preparing a meal has disappeared thanks to the No Tox Dish Block. A friend gave us one a couple of years back, and it transformed the experience of getting all the sticky bits off the counter. The way I use it is to squeeze a sponge full of water onto the counter, then lay the block down on its side and begin to move it with a circular motion--not pressing down, but letting it glide. This in itself is pleasant and easy, even graceful. As I circle about, no pressure, I can feel the block encountering little bits of this and that, as minor obstacles in its gliding, and when those little snags disappear to the touch (amazingly soon) it is time to sponge up the light suds and be done.Rather than having scraped and scrubbed, I've been to the Ice Capades, where everything is pleasant and graceful (plus I get kudos for cleaning up!). And my hands feel wonderful! I am aware that this might seem to overstate the ease and pleasantness of engaging a once-tiresome task, but if you try it, I think chances are very good you'll agree. Also somewhat surprising is how long the Block lasts. It was two years before the gift from my friend began to wear thin and I placed the order for the one that got here a few weeks ago. As you can tell, I recommend the Block enthusiastically.

I love the idea, however you need a dishblock
This product is great for lowering your waste. It is so easy to use, i just wet my brush and then scrub. However at first I did not have a dish block this caused my block to look dry and gross. Please get a dishblock. It doesnt smell strong which I like and foams up nicely. I do not use it for soaking just scrubbing so I can not speak to residue removal overtime. I would get this again!

Does a good job
I've purchased this dish soap twice now, and it gets the job done. It is easier to place it in an angled soap dish holder so I can pull my sponge across it while washing to lather up. The bar lasts longer than a bottle of dish soap would, but I still use liquid dish soap when washing anything greasy. But everything else gets the bar and it all comes out clean.

It’s okay
I was trying something new with my dish brush. So I gave this bar a chance. It’s okay but I won’t buy it again. It’s a bar, so it leaves a mess where ever you place it wet. It was too big for the soap dish I bought for it but I made it work. I just did not like it. There is nothing wrong with the product. It’s just a persons personal preference. The bar soaps up well and cleans well.

LOVE
I hate the amount of plastics I use in my every day life. I have moved further away from plastic bottles for my laundry, body wash, and now dish soap. I love this product and it will last for a long time. I have hard water so it doesn't get as soapy as I would like but it does bubble up. But this is par for the course for most soaps in my house.
