Small Bag but Good Quality
This bag works fine for the purpose intended - i.e.: pet carrier on a JetBlue airplane. It is quite small and our 13 Lb cat fit in but just barely and could move around a tiny bit. That being said, he seemed quite comfortable and never meowed once during the entire flight or complained in any way. If you have a really big cat or a dog that is bigger than 18 lbs don't even think for a minute that you will be able to squeeze them into this bag to bring onto the plane. If you are traveling on JetBlue this bag just fits under the seat front and did not interfere with my own foot room in any meaningful way. However, don't even think of bringing another larger non-JetBlue bag on the plane because it simply won't fit. We have a larger Sherpa bag (Medium Size) that we normally use to take our cat around in but it was obvious that this would have been too big for the plane and I would still use the larger bag for non-JetBlue purposes. The bag is waterproof at the bottom so any accidents should be contained although I did put a puppy trainer cloth in the bottom just in case. Bag has some nice side pockets that you can put treats or a small toy or washcloth in. Based on other peoples comments I aired the bag out before using it the first time and had no problem with off-gassing that I could tell.

Cheaper than buying from their website
I bought this on Amazon because it was cheaper than buying directly from Jet Blue. It is small and my dog is just a *little* too tall for it, but when he lays down the carrier he fits well and seems comfortable. He was really not into it at first, but I did a lot of training with it before I took him on the plane. I would leave it open on the couch and throw his toys into it so he would feel comfortable getting into it on his own. I also drove him around in it and he actually does better in the car when he's in the carrier than when he's on his own. I always made sure to take him in the carrier to "happy places" like the dog park so he doesn't feel stressed in it. I flew home with him for the holidays and I didn't have any problems at all. He stayed quiet the whole plane ride and while we were waiting in the airport. When we were taking off and landing I kept him on the floor under the chair in front of me, but during the ride I kept the bag on my lap and let his head stick out once in a while. It was much easier than I thought it would be to travel with him.

Small but perfect size
It’s small, so the dog cannot stand up, but she rested quietly on a cross-country trip from Palm Springs to Boston without any signs of uncomfortably.

OK but very small - not many pets will actually fit into it
The carrier is fine - a bit flimsy but fine. My issue is with the jetblue size restrictions for pets. They say anything under 20 lbs. But my miniature poodle puppy weighs less than 10 lbs and there's no way that this tiny guy will fit into this bag because of his height and length. So the bag went back and we cancelled our flight and paid a penalty for the cancellation in the bargain. No wonder people go on-line and buy fake certificates declaring their pets service animals. I am too honest to do that but gosh, you couldn't fit anything much bigger than a toy breed puppy, kitten or rabbit into that bag if they have to also stand up and turn around.

Jet Blue Approved Pet Carrier
I bought this for my 12lb dog to travel for my brother's wedding. I was worried that my dog would put up a big fight since she's never been on a plane. The carrier is durable, has several mesh openings for air and so that the dog can see you. There are a few pockets, not big enough for a leash unless it's super thin, but it will fit some treats. The bottom of the carrier has a flat piece covered in nylon/plastic and then a removable soft cover. The flat piece is cardboard (I think), it's sturdy for the most part, but I would have liked for it to be a little stronger. Other than that it's a good carried for a good price and it fit under the seat of the plane with no problem.

Ridiculous!
This is required by JetBlue to take your pet with you in the cabin under the seat. They require the cat be able to stand. The average height of a standing cat is 9" and this is only 8" high. But, when you go to put it under the seat, there's only 6" of space or less, when you consider the life vest that's hanging under the seat. The cat I transported in this hated it! She was fine in a somewhat larger plastic pet carrier. I used that as a carry on, placing it in the overhead bin (don't EVER put a pet in the overhead bin. She was in this lousy carrier under the seat.) Then, I transferred her from this crappy carrier into the plastic one, in the lav, right before deplaning. This was the second carrier I had to buy for the trip. The first one was bitten and clawed through. VERY flimsy and cheap plastic mesh is easy to tear through. Also, there are 2 openings with zippers. You MUST have something to clip the zippers together with if you expect the pet not to open the carrier by themselves. I discovered this after a quick stop at the rest area only to return to the car with the cat sitting in the driver's seat! Luckily, I had her in a harness and strapped to the inside of the carrier, the one good feature of this thing! A harness connected to the carrier is a must. If you have to use this to transport your pet, good luck and God Bless! I WON'T be doing so again!

Design and quality is impeccable!
I borrowed one of these from a friend and had to buy one afterward. It's made so well! All the pockets fit everything my 4.5 lb dog needs while in transit. I love that there are so many pockets as well, for quick retrieval. The exterior nylon is great because my dog can shed a lot if he's stressed and therefore the hair doesn't stick to the outside. Inside is a fleece so that's another story. The wire frame memory retains it's structure after being bent to fit in compact spaces. Love this carrier even though I never fly JetBlue!
