Works great with modification
I’ve only been using these ear cushions for a couple of weeks now, and like many other reviews that I’ve read, they kept repeatedly slipping off the cannula at first. But then I found that if I put the cushions on the cannula and then applied the tiniest amount of glue on both ends of the slit, and then two or three more spots of glue along the length of the cushion's slit, it really helped to keep them in place. You have to be careful though not to use too much glue, especially if you’re using super glue, which can actually melt the foam rubber cushion and even damage or destroy the rubberized cannula tubing if you get some on it. Also, too much glue and you might adhere the cushion to the cannula, which you wouldn't want to do either. After I was able to keep the ear cushions in place, they really helped to save my ears, especially at night while sleeping. With the cushions securely glued, I can easily remove and replace my cannula without dislodging the cushion. I can also slide the cushion up or down on the cannula tubing to adjust its position to right where I want it.Another option that I haven't personally tried yet is to use a thin piece of thread to tie around the cushion at four or five places along its length to keep it attached to the tubing, and this option, if it does work well, would allow you to cut the thread and reused the foam cushions again on another cannula.

Comfortable protector for 02 tubing
Works great. Easy to put on although needs to be fastened better on hosing. Too easy to lose and come off after only couple of days of use. Will last at least more than 1 week. Will purchase again. Stops irritated, red sore behind ears.

Don't waste your money
I liked that the overing was made of nice soft foam and was easy to install. But things go downhill from there. The slits in the foam covering makes it impossible to keep the foam wrap around the oxygen tubing and defeats the purpose. After wearing it a while the slits pull apart and can't keep the oxygen tubing inside. As a result, the tubing ends up resting on your ears. I stopped using them and went for the felt and velcro wraps.

These work but have room for improvement
These work for your over ear oxygen tubes but have room for improvement. These as mentioned in other reviews are a bit long and loose. They do seem to pop off or open and work their way off your oxygen tubes. My remedy for this was simple I cut them shorter and (as suggested by another reviewer) put some small little Amazon band aids on the ends to keep them from allowing the tube to slip out of the slit in the rubber. The quality of the item is good but needs adjustments.I knocked one star off for having to adapt them myself and buy the little size band aids.

Loose
These are too long for one thing. However, they are Soft foam so you can trim them and Make them shorter. The second item is in regards to the Interior diameter On this. The inner hole is too big. I have about 100 Cannulas mostly from one manufacturer but some from another manufacturer and the hose that goes behind your ear is pretty much the same size all of them so this device is too large. It slips. The first time I put them on. I lost the cannula guards. They had had fallen down inside my shirt. I did find them though after some digging. How embarrassing. Ultimately I was able to make them work By trimming the length. I understand why you said to put the slit on top. If the ID was smaller, They would not slip quite so much. Couple this with the fact that the bolo on almost all cannulas does not Fit well so now I have three pieces on the cannula that do the slip slide. Usable but kind of a hassle. If nothing else is available I will certainly buy these and from what I see, these are probably the most practical design and ease of use that I could find except they are just not friendly to what I guess is the majority of cannulas That I see. Again I would buy them again, but understanding what is peculiar about them is very important. Otherwise you're just going to be unhappy. Thank you.

Disappointing
I was very disappointed in these, as there is no way to actually fasten them in place. After installing them and wearing them for just a short while, they began to twist and turn until the split was on the outside of the bend, so ofviously the canula hose began to pop thru the split in the cushion.I may try putting them on and then super-gluing the seam together, but I honestly don't have high hopes for that solution. Fortunately, these weren't terribly expensive, so I didn't waste a lot of $$. But I do wish their R&D folks would come up with some way to seal the seams once they've been installed around the canula hose.
