Blue Magic900 Carpet Stain & Spot Lifter - 22 oz. Aerosol Can

First, let me say that I DID NOT receive this product for free or discounted, nor was I solicited in ANY way to review this product. You can see my purchase is VERIFIED. Further, my purchase was 100% INDEPENDENT and so are my opinions. That out of the way, I would say that this is one of those rare products I wish I could give a higher rating than 5 stars for!I have included a few pictures.... wish I would have taken even more before and afters because it worked that well. My carpet is very high end "sculpted berber" in case that helps you compare what you have. It is a sort of darker tan with flecks of turquoise color - about 10 years old. (yes, it's ready for replacement) I have pretty much tried about every carpet cleaner out there trying to remove old stains. I suspect the biggest issues I had were old "puppy potty training" stains, but who can know for sure this long ago... Anyway... please see my pictures to see what I did. I purchased the pump spray and the aerosol "foam" spray Blue Magic... Pump version vs foam.... For a second you can see the exactly where the foam sprayed... maybe there is an advantage in knowing were the bulk of the product sprayed for a brief second... however, I didn't see any real difference in stain lifting ability. Also, I did purchase a soft, hand held scrub brush to do a light scrub before blotting the product off. Once I saw how quickly and efficiently it remove those gray, plate size spots (about 6 were in the area shown in "after" shot - wish I would have taken a before shot of the whole area), I got braver and tried on a really dark brown drip spot (who knows what it was - I suspect my husband) - I had to do a couple of treatments and use the scrub brush, but it lifted even that stain! Oh... also on the brush, I had purchased the Resolve system (foam cleaner with attached to a long handled scrub brush - so you can stand while scrubbing) and I have taken to using that and then patting with a paper towel and my feet... It's hard for me to get down on my hands and knees. This has worked so well my neighbor borrowed to try on a stain she's had for years. She reports with a couple of treatments it lifted the old mystery stain right up.It does have a slight odor... but not a bad one... clean smelling in my opinion. But I would not report that it has a freshening ability. I was worried it smell chemically and am I happy to report that it does not.It says "removes stains in one step - no vacuuming required." It's actually a couple of steps in my estimation... Apply the product... scrub...(or not - your choice)...wait 30 seconds (15 seconds on a fresh stain).... and then blot, firmly, several times. You can decide if that is "one" or more steps.It also warns that you should test your carpet before using.... I did not.... only because we are going to replace it and it was my thought it can't be worse than it already is... But I do recommend following their directions.As with all chemicals it says to keep out of reach of children.I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seems useful. One of the best carpet spot cleaner we used. Great for home or auto. Works on spots on upholstery also. Test small area always first is the recommendation.

I have a lot of old school beige carpet in my house that is still in good shape. This product does a great job in taking care of any stains that might appear for whatever reason. I have gone through several cans, it works great. I spray on a small amount, and immediately wipe with a dampened cloth, the stain is gone.

I was surprised how well this worked and how quickly.I have a light colored berber carpet and there were several smaller stains and one large stain that I have tried several products on. One application took care of all the smaller stains. I applied it twice on the large and very stubborn stain. It looks so much better. I plan on giving it one more application.Drying time is very quick and odor is pleasant.

I just got this. I really hope that it will be very useful. If so, I'll be ordering more.

My very artsy and creative kid saw *inspiration* on the headliner of my car. It was a Michelangelo moment and with the crayon her masterpiece was born! Yeah, to my horror it was black crayon and not the washable kind. The super cheap and extra waxy kind. Thankfully, I’m not the only parent this has happened too, and unfortunately if you’re here you’re probably in the same boat. Take a deep breath because this product works! I saw a guy on YouTube post a video about getting crayon off the headliner of his car using this and it worked and I was not about to do the drive of shame to the detailing shop AGAIN ($$$$).So thank you blue magic! 10 minutes and my car looks brand new! I will recommend this to everyone I know and I’m going to use it to tackle some other stains that my dear kids have left me around the house.The first picture (top) is immediately after the crayon incident. The second picture is after the patch test. The third picture is after cleaning up everything. I am beyond happy and thrilled!

I’m only one for two on tough stains so far. I have a very messy 9 year old so I ordered this to use on the stain and then use my Bissell little green machine pro over. I have a 50% success rate. The good news is that my landlord is a relative, the bad news it’s my grandma and no one likes disappointing grandma
