There are 2 types of kids camelbak straws ones with narrow valves (the older ones) and ones with fat values (these ones)These are really expensive for what they are but camelbak have already got you so you are not going anywhere.That being said they do exactly what you require, replace the old with the new and you are back up and running within minutes..

I took a risk based on previous 2-star reviews by others, but these are fine for Eddy Kids bottle. Similar to other detailed review about valve design, yes the bite valve is slightly different and seems larger (better in my opinion when i tested the bite action) and will be longer lasting as it feels more dense and harder to bite through over time. The opening for the straw is larger, but this package (from Armystores seller) comes with four straws too. Larger girth straws which are longer and requires cutting down to exactly 12.5cm lenght (use v.sharp knife or stanleyblade). Used with an Eddy Kids bottle the bite valve folds over and remains leak free - although same as original valves if you dont secure the cap into closed position then the valve will drop slightly when bottle is upside down....so close the cap if you dont want a leak! No problems with it making bubbling or gurgling sounds like another review mentioned. Cant really fault this - it seems these are a developed design of nozzle, better for kids who love to chomp onto the valve when they are daydreaming. Just hope i dont drop and crack the bottle now i've invested in nozzles to last us the foreseeable

These are in fact Eddy+ Kids bite valves, so the older straws don't fit as the Eddy+ straws are wider... Not ideal. However, if you can get your mini people to start tipping the bottle to drink from it the valve works much better than the old ones. We'll be keeping them and hoping they last longer the the originals.

The new bite valves fit my daughter's bottle, however didn't notice they are not an exact match regarding the straw size.. be aware these valves are for the newer larger straw size.. luckily i have a spare one from an old bottle i can shorten, but you'll otherwise have to buy a larger straw as well as these valves.

These valves are for Eddy+ bottles. They will fit in Eddy bottles but will require a wider straw as the aperture is wider. The eddy valve has 4 sealing rings and the Eddy+ has 5 sealing rings. The bite valves are a different design.See attached photos of the differences. I also needed Original Eddy valves and bought these but the description is wrong.

These are OK, but mine were sent without any straws and there doesn't seem to be any way to contact the seller. The straw from my original bottle is too small.

I'm not sure what went wrong here, since I bought these straight from CamelBak. This product was unexpectedly different from the CamelBak Eddy Kids valves I was trying to replace. First, the connection on the bottom for the straw was the wrong size--it was sized for the larger adult straws. CamelBak tried to ameliorate this problem by unexpectedly including adult straws with my order, but the straws they sent were too long to fit into the Eddy bottles. I sawed off the straws so that they would fit the Eddy bottles. Then, I noticed another problem: the valve has a different drinking opening than the ones that come with the Eddy bottles, and this opening does not sustain a vaccum the way the orginal valves did, which makes drinking louder (burbling sound) and leads to some leakage. I'm disappointed, as I expected valves identical to the ones that came with the CamelBak Eddy bottles I quite recently purchased (last 18 months).
