YoLink Water Leak Detector, 1/4 Mile World's Longest Range, Wireless Smart Water Leak Sensor, Alexa, IFTTT, Hub Required

This unit is very tiny and works great. It is pretty sensitive to water. It is easy to use, just pare it up with your YoLink hub and set it where you want water to be detected. It can be pared directly to a water shut-off device from YoLink if you are using it that way. We placed ours on our boat to alert us if the bilge pump fails for some reason. Our neighbor's boat sunk recently during a storm while docked because their pump failed. We don't want this to happen to us. It is a good security investment value for our piece of mind.

The sensors work great! I have 2 water leak sensors (by the refrigerator and water heater) and 2 temperature sensors in the house (1 is in the garage). The [hone app is easy to install and easy to use. The sensors are a breeze to install as well, (using the QR code for installation is the fastest). I have mine set for phone notification as well as email.

We have polybutylene pipe throughout the house that is attached to a central manafold type system. Our neighbors house flooded from their manafold and I checked mine and found it was about to leak. We had some fitting replaced just in case and I decided to give the Yolink water detectors a try. I bought the main system which had the central hub and some detectors. I installed one under the manafold system, one in the pan that sits under the water heater (towards the edge of the pan so it isn't near the heat source), and one under the kitchen sink. Since the initial install I purchased several Yolink add on detectors and have them under every sink, behind every toilet in the house, and next to the washing machine. They work and give great peace of mind and are so easy to add to the system. When we mop the bathroom floors, the detectors always send me an alert on my phone letting me know that water was detected behind the toilet, so they do work great. I installed a bathroom faucet, made sure there were no leaks and the faucet worked perfect for two weeks. The Yolink notified me there was a leak and I was able to catch it before it made a mess or did any damage. Turned out the new faucet was faulty and I had to replace it. Yolink saved a potentially huge problem especially since it was a guest bathroom on the second floor that we hardly ever use. Well worth the investment and peace of mind. As for how it works, you attach the hub to your wifi then download the app to your phone, scan the sensors (you can name each sensor and give it a location), then place the sensors where they go. Within the app you set up how you want the hub to communicate with you. I set it to send me texts. I really like that each sensor is able to be labeled with the room and the location. For example one sensor is named "Guest Bathroom Sink 1- by door", another is named "Guest Bathroom sink 2- by toilet", etc. Overall excellent detectors and excellent price.

I have a lot of smart home devices and this is, by far, one of the easiest to set up and get online and working. I wanted to wait to leave a review until I knew how reliable these were and after 6 months I can say they are a great sensor. I had my basement flood with a plumbing backup and fully submerging the previous smart things sensor I had ruined it so I bought these as a replacement. My washer still backs up into my basement shower on a rare occasion and these reliably go off when it does and they are actually fully waterproof. The devices have no randomly gone offline once, so they do stay reliably connected. I like the system enough that I bought more sensors for things like my sinks and toilets so I know if they randomly start leaking. Highly recommend

This product is easy to set up and works as advertised. Great security for areas that might flood like under the sinks near toilets and near water tanks.

I've got leak detectors in the attic (an AC system that sometimes misbehaves with the condensation venting....so when it starts venting into the overflow tub under the unit, I know it's time to service. I've been using the YoLink product for 5 1/2 years (leak detector, temp humidity for upstairs downstairs and refrigerator freezers) and they are just great. The only reason I don't give them a 5-star is I can never get their hub to connect to my WiFi unless it is hardwired.....5 years ago I told them: "The Hub continuously fall off the WiFi connection to the network and sometimes apparently only sees the 5GHz channel, even though I have a 2.4 GHz channel with other devices active on it. It is 2 feet from the router (Netgear Orbi). I've given up trying to connect the Hub to my network through anything except the ethernet." Other than that the hub is great, I get alerts on my phone and email when it detects a leak, regardless of where I am in the world.

These seem to work well. I like the fact that these can be connected to the water valve without internet. I have tested this and it does work. If these get water contact then they will cause the valve to shut. They also work through the app. I think these are a great value for the money.

I didn't know what to expect, but I heard this product was good. It arrived quickly, was REALLY easy to install and connect with the mobile app. Works perfectly. I have 5 installed in my condo and another 4 installed in my country cottage. You can view their functions by house, location, etc. Highly recommended. Try to wait for a sale, since they are kind of pricey, but they are certainly good.

This is the eu version that operates on a different frequency to the us hubs. It does not connect to my hub

I have a lot of Yolink items and they work perfectly. Great to monitor water leaks for my water heater, washing machine, water pressure tank and even inside my sump pit. I installed it inside (within an abs cap) right over where the pump is located. So, if it detects water, so I have still time to fix it before any damages.

Great if you need to be away and leave water on
