Great toy but stand is difficult/not sturdy
This is a great model, very lifelike and a brilliant toy for my 7 year old son who loves Harry Potter. However, I wouldn’t buy it for display or as a collectible. The stand is quite flimsy and the dragon will only stand/balance on it in very specific positions. Not sturdy at all.

The Hungarian HornTail is better than I could imagine in my wet dreams. It is Papo quality but in a Farlane Toy. And the size of the creature is gorgeous. Finally the package arrived one day before I expected!! Thanks a lot!

I have been quite critical of McFarlane’s recent media releases (GoT dragons) due to them lacking in quality paint application and detail. This, however, is a vast improvement over those previous releases. I can honestly say that this is the quintessential affordable Hungarian Horntail on the market right now. It’s a brilliant sculpt with no shortage of detail or articulation points. The tail is bendable and the base plate looks great. Clean and crisp paint application with everything the dragon from the movie could have been. The two things that are missing though, are an insert able jet of flame (these came with the GoT dragons) and the chain pictured on the box figure. See photos attached for more detail. Great work McFarlane!

Está muy bien pintado. Las articulaciones hacen que pueda adoptar distintas posturas. Recomiendo la figura si eres coleccionista o te gusta el mundo de Harry Potter.

This horn tail looks true to its movie design. McFarlane always does a great job on dragon designs. The base is semi thematic and has a golden egg. It can be positioned in flight or on the ground
