Who would think that looking for new oven mitts could be so time consuming so I narrowed my search with certain criteria. I wanted mitts that were decorative, had silicone for high heat resistance, were long enough to protect exposed wrists and were pliable. These Red LMLDETA Professional Silicone Oven Mitts fit all the criteria and I'm extremely pleased with them. Decorative without being over the top and very upscale. I was really pleased when I received them and saw how nice and they were. Mine are in beige and are neutral without being boring. Perfect to use even with guests at the table. Strong and sturdy but pliable for easy use. Well made and very good quality. The perfect oven mitt and offered at a reasonable price.

Love these new oven mitts! Previously I had the all quilted fabric ones. Because they absorbed spills and food odors, my new dog would steal them off the counter and chew them up if I turned my back on them for a moment. These new mits are flexible, fit my hubby's large hands as well as my smaller ones comfortably. There are the perfect length to keep me for getting burned if I have to grab a pan that has slid to the back of my oven.I am very please with them.

These mitts seemed to be well made and nice and roomy. I had to return them because it was hard for me to grasp a cookie sheet or pan while wearing them.

These are my first silicone mitts. I don't have the same dexterity in these as I do in all-cloth mitts, but they are certainly easy to clean. Love that. I'm sure I will get used to the slight awkwardness that comes with less flexibility.

When your hands are saved from being burned all the time buy the handles of hot pots and pans, pans holding hot baked hams or cookies, it makes you want to use your stove and oven more! Now that my hands, wrists and a quarter of the way up my forearm are protected by theses gloves, I am encouraged to cook more delicious, home cooked Meals for my family. Not only are the meals more delicious and wholesome than those I could order out, but they are cheaper too. Amazing what the investment in these gloves did for my family!

I was given these for Christmas, and was skeptical. But I put them into the potholder drawer...and now they are the only oven mitts I use. They felt a little more awkward than cloth mitts at first -- but their HUGE advantage is if they touch something wet (ever stick your thumb into lasagna when taking it out of the oven?) it doesn't soak in, and you don't get burned. They clean up beautifully and easily, and I am not seeing any wear after 2 1/2 months of use. I'd buy them!

I was tired of my hands getting burnt getting things out of oven. Tried others but these are great. I feel no hit spots on my hands wrist when using these. Rubber grip also makes holding onto things easier. Think I'll get another set and get rid of all the ones I have that are not as good as these.

Bought to replace a old pair (which was much thicker silicone) and these are nice enough, but a bit thin and in terms of heat protection thicker would be better.
