My six year old likes it.
I purchased this for my six year old daughter and she seems to be having fun with it. The controls seem a little difficult to master but she is getting better with practice. You basically just fly around the island on one of the 5 character/dragon combos and land at certain spots to play mini games like flying through rings of fire. She's actually just been flying around practicing the controls and collecting tokens for the last hour or so, ignoring the mini games, but she is having fun so I feel like it was money well spent. It's a simple game but for a kid her age that's all she needs.

Really great!
We liked it right away. You didn't need to download it onto the WiiU to play it. You just put it in and its ready to go. There are tokens to collect and you can unlock Hiccups mom and dad. There are many games you can play. Our favorite is Sweep the Sheep.

They aren't super interested but love the movies and the Netflix's
I bought it for my daughters birthday, we still can't figure out how to make it a two player game.. They aren't super interested but love the movies and the Netflix's series

Fun, but harder than we thought
It's a little more challenging than I expected. My children struggle with it. They are young though, the oldest being 10. I find this game doesn't gay played as often as some of the other games we have.

For older children
I bought this for my grandsons ages 4 & 8. The controls seem to be geared more to the 8 year old than 4. Very difficult to land the dragon.

Great Non-Violent Video Game
As a gift for my 9 year old grandson, I was looking for something fun and non-violent. This was the game. He's enjoying it immensely and my daughter-in-law is pleased with it also!
