I've used this regularly and can verify it is great stuff. However, the shipper did not seal these containers in any way beyond the normal lids, so it concerns me they could leak.

I like the fact that zi was able to get this product within two days. I have used Agra pre-electric shave for years , but in the last year I have not been able to buy it locally. A year or so ago I could find it but it was double or more in price. It is very good for my face to use before shaving. Smooth and no burn.

I usually shave with a double edged razor, but I occasionally use an electric razor if I’m in a hurry. Because my face isn’t accustomed to shaving with an electric, I tend to get a fair amount of irritation. So, I was curious to see if Alta would help.Interestingly, Alta is listed as a pre-shave conditioner, but the instructions on the bottle refer to using it as an aftershave. I applied a small amount of it (about dime sized) on my beard and waited several minutes for it to dry. I then used my electric shaver to shave. I noticed Alta added significant drag to my shaver, making it a little more difficult to shave. But there was absolutely zero irritation afterward. I left it on my face as it felt very good on my skin, and it definitely helps to moisturize. It has a very strong scent, which I like, and it will definitely linger. It remained even when I washed my face again many hours later. The next time I shaved, I used Alta as a preshave conditioner for my double edged razor. I didn’t let it dry completely since I was going to be wetting my face to shave. I just applied my usual shaving cream afterward and shaved. Alta did seem to make that smoother and more comfortable. After rinsing my face, the scent lingered, but it wasn’t as strong as it was when I used it with my electric shaver.Overall, Alta really is a great product to prevent irritation from shaving with both an electric shaver and a double edged razor. And it would be useful as an aftershave no matter what you shave with. But there are definitely some trade offs in terms of increasing drag during electric shaving and its strong scent that may not be appreciated by everyone.

I have used this product for very many years. Thus what was important was getting exactly what I ordered and quick delivery.

This product really works, it makes my shaving much closer and faster.

Afta is different, very different. I've been using it for more than 30 years. My father used Williams and like most alcohol-based pre-shave liquids, it lubricates the skin with an oily slick that lasts long enough to pass your electric shaver 2 or 3 times before you begin to feel irritation. They go on wet and end up creating a sticky, clumpy mess of shaved hairs inside the shaver head that requires forceful water to clean. Afta, however, goes on as an emulsion and then dries on your skin, lubricating your hairs and making them stand up so your shaver glides over your face and cuts the hairs in far fewer passes. There's no residue or burning sensation left behind. When you're done, there's virtually no skin irritation and your shaver is full of dry hairs that brush out easily (most just fall out) and you're ready for the next shave without having to waste water. Further, when you apply after shave, there's no burn. This product is often hard to find in stores because it's never advertised so it doesn't get shelf space. Walmart has it once in a while, but Amazon always has it in stock.

I like this product over the other name brand I buy as Afta feels like it has more alcohol and less oil. The other always made me feel greasy after use and wondered if that's to benefit the shaver blades anyhow it felt kinda gross. Afta was getting harder to find in stores so I ordered a 3 pack here and I'm set. Love it.

I have always used Electric shavers for 60 years now and have always been buying different brands of pre-electric shave lotions of different makes during my travels over-seas because these were not available in India. Due to the Pandemic we haven't travelled abroad and thought of checking availability on Amazon ! I ordered these and found it to be most effective and better than all of these used thus far. So I made a second order as well !!

This is great stuff, it’s nice and thick so it’s easy to smear on your face and when it dries it leaves the skin ready for an electric shave. I always bring some back from the states because it’s tricky to find in this country. But this Pack arrived promptly and was a good price.

I am very happy with this product.
