Two pairs have had the same two issues:1) The arm of the headphone breaks off completely, making them unwearable2) In the 2-3 months you get before the arm breaks off, if you lay on the right side of your head you're treated with ear-piercing feedback.

Since Bose discontinued their sleepbuds I needed an alternative. I had seen these before when they were just starting out. I was skeptical, especially for the money. But I decided to try them out. I have a very loud, snoring husband. The first night was hard. I’m a side sleeper and not used to wearing headphones when I sleep. BUT the second night was fabulous! And the app is awesome. Not only that, but the way they cradle my ears is wonderful. I use brown noise in the app to fall asleep, and when the headphones sense that I’m asleep, they fade to white noise. Use a soft, fluffy pillow and give them a few days, they’re worth it.

I’ve had these headphones for over four months now. I used them almost daily for the first few weeks, and it was truly helping. But, it became increasingly impossible to sleep with them nightly. The ear pads run very hot after a few hours, making it too uncomfortable to sleep with. The shifting of the headphones throughout the night would cause pain on my ears as well from pressure, leading to a few miserable mornings. At short stints however, they’re very comfortable. Sleeping on your side for a shorter period of time is absolutely doable.The app and headphones themselves are both finicky. Sometimes, it’s challenging to even pair with my phone. Even turning the headphones off and on is annoying. The app itself is not great. I like that it tried to compare a Sleep Cycle with a Calm, but it falls short in both areas.Great headphones for a nap, but bad for a full night of sleep. Would not purchase again given the price.

This is my second pair of Kokoon Relax headphones. The first ones developed the same splitting issue as the ones shown in the photo. No, they're not replaceable. To the company's credit, they sent a replacement - but do demand the original box and all of the accessories to be sent back. Fortunately, I'm a box saver.At first I really liked these headphones and the tracking app. However, back in 2021 their data center had a fire and all of the tracking info was lost. No backups. They had to rebuild from scratch. The "new" app isn't as robust as the original and, honestly, I've quit using it.These are fine if you are a back sleeper. For side sleepers they are problematic. The little tracking 'nubs' dig into my ear.Would I buy again? Probably not. There are better, more comfortable, sleep headphones out there. And ones where you can wash the covers or certainly replace them.

Bought during Thanksgiving 2022 and wrote to support requesting a return/refund within 10 days; After 3 reminder emails in Dec, Feb and May, finally heard back in June stating they are sorry that Covid19 is causing delays! In 2023?Despite all the hassle, they refuse to pay for return shipment and are "sorry if the resolution is not to your expectation".If you are buying this prepare to be on your own, its a one-way street with Kokoon Support.

I wish companies would learn to stand by their products and provide exceptional customer service but unfortunately kokoon has both an inferior product and inferior customer service. Though I bought these headphones as a kickstarted investor years ago I only wore them 3 times before the right speaker broke and the entire device has become useless. I sent pictures and proof below but they said they cannot repair and will not replace . Buyer beware! Inferior products and customer service will ruin future sales. As promised here is my review and I hope it does just that!

I bought these to drown out my snoring partner. Thankfully these arrived soon after my fifth pair of Bose sleepbuds crapped out, as I was dependent on active noise to sleep at that point. I had slept with quietcomfort headphones some nights and boy were those hard to sleep in. These are a dream in comparison! They are thinner and much more comfortable around the ear. I am a side sleeper and these work fine with a thick, soft pillow. I have no issues with these coming off at night. I do find that the sensors in the ear cups sometimes irritate my ear and the sound sometimes “squeaks” when I’m lying on my side (the latter happened with my quiet comfort headphones too). At this point I can’t sleep without these!

I was looking for a pair of headphones that would decrease noise and allow me to sleep with my husband that snores. This are perfect for that. The headphones due not cancel out noise but can decrease the noise around me. I really like the relaxation techniques that come the app. You cannot use the headphones without your phone and the app. It is important to know this before you buy the headphones. You cannot use the headphones by themself.
