I don't believe they are "Genuine" leather, however, they are a high quality blend, a nice chestnut color...I got these specifically to cosplay (really my first time) as one of Dungeons and Dragons characters, a gunslinger, spell shooter..They worked perfectly and I will keep using them!Pros: Affordable, can ship fast, solid construction, color and material.Cons: sort of flimsy strap clasp. Be gentle!

Made well, didn't rub or blister my skin. Was a little difficult to lace up but it got the job done and it looked great with my Ren faire costume!

The material definitely felt odd, but it looked great so that's not why I am returning it.The size just felt really off and kept sliding. The design was cool though.

If only these were bigger. In a previous review I stated how good they looked. They were just like the picture. However they are far too small for even a small arm man.

I was expecting a cheap costume quality, but the gauntlets are sturdy and well made. The lacing makes them easily adjustable. I was able to wear them all day for my event and they were comfortable - just make sure you have full range of wrist motion BEFORE you lace them up and you're golden.

Did end up returning bc my daughter didn’t like the feel of them, but if I had had ANY reason to keep them, I would have. Super cute, felt really authentic and cool.

I bought these based on the multiple statements in the listing that they were made of genuine cowhide leather. They absolutely are NOT real leather. Just cheap Halloween costume quality fake leather. They are also smaller than the ones being worn in the picture. Upon closer inspection the photo almost looks photoshoped. Like they just imposed the bracer into the photo so that it looks like it covers the guys whole forearm. To be fair, the listing does show accurate measurements, but the picture definitely doesn't represent those measurements unless the guy in the picture is an actual hobbit. Very disappointing.

I like these as they are practical and easy to strap on. Besides the esthetic, they can protect your wrist from any potential knife attacks to your arms ans wrists

Not leather. Plastic feel. Not worth it.
