Not silent as described but quite powerful for the size.

Great fan for my desk very quiet and I was able to stay cool

Very glad I bought this a couple of weeks ago before the hot weather the past few days. Very sturdy fan, nice design and plenty powerful. It has 3 settings but I’ve hardly needed to use it on anything but lowest setting. Put it on my bedside table and it’s very easy to adjust position so that it blows in exact place I want it to. On the highest setting it’s as noisy as most other fans I’ve had in the past, but on the lowest it’s pretty quiet, though not silent obviously. I don’t understand a previous review which mentions an irregular whooshing sound waking them up - I’ve used this for last two weeks and not noticed this at all. It is a quiet ‘constant white noise’ and it sends me to sleep.

Kept me cool through heatwaves. One thing to be aware of is the jump from setting 1 to setting 2 is massive

This is NOT a silent fan, as with most fans the noise will keep you awake at night, however it is a cheap and cheerful thing, nowt special but it was only £20

Love this fan. Very quiet- I can sleep with it on during hot nights, something I have never been able to do with any other fans. Very powerful settings and looks good. Very happy with this fan.

The air flow from this fan even at slow speed setting number one is superior to that of the more bulky free standing larger diameter fans. Already ordered two more to replace the more traditional fans we had at home. Number 1 setting delivers surprising sufficient air flow, and very quite. You can however hear setting two and three more, though not required as setting one is ideal.
