Great replica
This is a great replica and trainer for anyone who says you cannot change the pocket clip it shows that you’ve clearly never owned a fox knife before or any replicas as it’s pretty spot on the liner is threaded for the clip screws not the grip! And it’s great trainer seems ti hold up and as long that you got a star Allen wrench you’re good to go ti tinker with the blade retention as it will get loose over time. For the price it’s great.

Decent for price
So far so good using this trainer. The second one I ordered, cross lock, did not hold up, though.

Can't ask for much more for the money
No issues with my copy. All corners are rounded, no sharp edges. The pocket clip was on the wrong side for me, but it swapped easily unlike other reviewers. Reasonably smooth and locks up well, but only time will tell on the pivot, it may need to be tightened or even loctite if it loosens. Very close to the Fox and great for safe practice. The pocket hook is not nearly as good as a real Wave, but it works fine since the pivot is a little loose. Also, if you can consistently deploy on this hook, a real Wave will work easier.

Corners were very sharp, but otherwise amazing buy!
Firstly, I need to say that this training knife was SHARP out of the box. The "edge" was flat and safe, but the corners of that flat edge were 90° degree sharp corners and I was literally able to cut paper with the corners. I had to file down the corners all the way around the entire knife in order to make it relatively safe for training purposes. It is also important to know that the little wave nub at the top of the knife is still absolutely a dangerous weapon if you spin the karambit and hit somebody with it. Use common sense, please. That being said, the only other issue I had was that the belt clip was installed on the left hand side, and unfortunately I don't own extremely tiny Torx wrenches, so it's just gonna have to be in my left pocket for training.Other than those two things, this trainer is very, very nice and CERTAINLY worth the buy. My instructor uses the $100+ name brand trainer and it's functionally identical to this one. It's also extremely comfortable in the hand, and the ring is the appropriate size.I gave 4 stars for sturdiness just because there is a slight back-and-forth rattle (none side to side) with the blade. I honestly spend so much time using this that I don't remember if it came that way or not, but I abuse the heck out of this thing and the very slight wiggling is the only damage to it.If you're looking for a karambit folding trainer, definitely buy this one. Just be sure to check the edges and file them down before using this!

The latch broke
If you asked me on March 19 whether I would recommend this product, I would've said yes. But to be frank, I am completely and utterly disappointed. The latch that is supposed to sit in the middle to stop the blade from collapsing did it's job a bit too well. Normally if you move it to the left(blade pointing towards you) the blade will be able to collapse. However, somehow the latch managed to get stuck on the blade when it was all the way to the right. So now the blade can't collapse at all the way. The blade can collapse to look like the blade of a scythe however. The only way to make it collapse all the way is to force it but that breaks the latch of the side it's supposed to be on.

These are great
I use these as loners in my classes. The corners on the blade are sharply machines so I have to break them with a file but other than that they are great. They are pretty durable too. The only ones we have broken have been while wrestling.

Hefty
Bit larger and heavier than the Fox but costs less. Slightly larger handle facilitates a better grip. Left pocket carry complements right handed pistol holster position. Bought two, to train with for left and right side carry. Good choice as a folder or fixed karambit blade. Lock is solid.
