However, if you want to enhance the aromatic effect, just apply more! And if you need even more vanilla aroma, then just put a few drops of vanilla extract in there and shake well, but I have not done this. I applied it to myself on my arms to gauge the rate of absorption, residue present, and strength of scent after 1 hour. After time elapsed, the absorption was great, no residue, however the scent held up for about 2 hours. The amount applied was about the size of a postage stamp over the entire surface of my forearms and hands, and it spread effortlessly. What I didn't expect was how lovely it smells. The feeling that comes to mind is "charming and disarming." Basically, I could see this being used as somewhat of a deal closer cologne; the kind that you wear when invited to the lady's house for the first time, you're both on the couch in close proximity, and you need a scent to set the mood and handle business. I mean, it's a scented massage oil, so it's obviously designed for women in mind, and I'm sure they did focus group testing to find this particular vanilla scent configuration to be the most attractive. Makes sense, right? Happy customer, great purchase. As for the scent effectiveness as a closer, I'll edit this review with a field report. -edit- She loved it.

This is the best massage oil!! Smells divine, my skin loves it. Non greasy, I don't need a shower after and my skin glows. Seductive scent, the light vanilla combined with the coconut is just right. The pump is great for easy apply.

One of the best massage oils I have ever tried, especially knowing the fact that it's edible. My only complaint is the strong vanilla smell that reminds me of a fragrant candle. A lot of people may love the smell, for me it's more of a candle than an edible vanilla smell.

My buddy had a reasonable objection to certain types of oils - too hard to wash off, poor smells, not edible, etc. I have more massage oil experience than he does so I figured I'd find a good one that would address his concerns. I'll be honest, this one popped up first and it seemed at a glance to meet the criteria I was looking for. Did a test run last night and I sure was pleased with the results. We liked the vanilla smell and both found it to be erotic. If you just towel off some of the oil when you're done, or taking a break, the scent lingers gently and serves as a reminder of the intimacy shared. It doesn't require a lot of washing to remove, especially from hands, though on my hairy chest it needed a couple rounds of bar soap. No problem! My bud was very down with it being made from edible coconut oil, saying he's got no problem kissing areas that have oil on them. I agree. We didn't test all possible applications of this but we'll get to that soon enough. I'm sure it will meet our needs. Taste-wise - it's rather innocuous, which is what I want. Not much taste, not bad, not anything you'd crave to try. I thought the price was right, too. I've purchased massage oils from gift shops and other places and they are two to three times the cost for a similar amount. Now all that remains to be seen is how soon we use it up!
