Fit a little loose but he will grow into it

Got this for my 11 year old son. He tried it on and put his arms out, sleeves came almost to his elbows! Was going to return it, but his 6 year old sister claimed it. So I guess at least it’s still getting used.

My 8 year old son typically fits appropriate to age (8 boys is a winner). I ordered this coat in a 10 thinking it would last him a year or more, however he tried it on and it fit him like a Size 8 would. I am returning this size in hopes for finding one that he can better grow into and not out of. :o)Aside from the size issue, the coat looks great. Lining is very soft and it appears to be warm. Zippers and snaps were of good quality and functioned as expected. I can't rate the weathering options (warmth, waterproofing, etc.) as we didn't get to try that out.

I was very pleased with this coat. Just the right weight for Wisconsin temperatures, and the blue is a great color. As for the logo on the chest left side, we got one that is printed in English, not that it mattered that much. Also to note, the zippered chest pockets are fake...there is no pocket there, again, not a deal breaker for us. This looks like a durable coat that will easily last one or two winters if your kid doesn't grow too much. If you are undecided about sizes, size up. In our experience it runs just a little small.

Fits well and is nice and warm for my kiddo. Unfortunately there is already a hole in one of the pockets. He's only had it for a couple of months.

This coat has a great look. Doesn’t seem to built to last though. Pockets have both torn through(my child may be u usually hard on it) and seams appear to be giving. Should work for the remainder of winter season, but wouldn’t have made it through a whole season. I gave 4 stars, as it may be my tough child that was to blame for issues.
