Great product goo for it
Hey if your want a good TDS meter for water testing just go for it blindly. And please don't buy any expensive TDS meter this one works great. Like Kovio neer water tester. This one is more affordable and they gave 2 battery. Plus you have Temperature gauge. Great product . Also very portable easy to use just dip it and done. Looks good and very durable.

TDS meter is a small hand-held device used to indicate the Total Dissolved Solids in a solution, usually water. Since dissolved ionized solids, such as salts and minerals, increase the conductivity of a solution, a TDS meter measures the conductivity of the solution and estimates the TDS from that reading. Also It's can measure room temperature 🌡️🤒 too.

Works, but Not accurate at all
This product does show a tds value.. And temperature value too The temperature is surprisingly quite accurate ( compared by measuring with a proper mercury thermometer) But that's about where the accuracy ends The tds value is uncalibrated and not accurate More so, the difference is not linear.. Like it's not a fixed amount more or less It depends on the value..the more the value measured..the more the difference from actual value.. As an example , for upto 200 tds, it will be off by 50 For 200- 500 it might be off by 100 and so on It can be more or less..but off the actual value.. This has been measured against a calibrated one.. For very low values though, it is good..like it will show 0 for DI water.. So it's best usecase is where one just needs to know if it is a low tds water or medium or high tds water.. Nothing more.. And for DI plants and RO system, it can indicate when to change the systems.. Provided the base value of the new system is known.. So depending on what you expect from it..it can be decent or totally bogus.. Build quality is pretty decent Low cost is another advantage
