Been using a vegetable/ charcoal sponge. I liked it.Millie's sponge looks more compact and less porous, felt gentler, face skin feeling was so nice, I kept on going, did my ears, throat, eyelids, and my itchy eyes like this sponge, plus my lips after dental work.It uses less cleanser than made more out of it.Skin felt so pretty smooth and soft in a deeper fresh felt way than using the others.Millie's Service was prompt and smartly packaged.Millie's ad smartly used a lovely gal and told detailed the what and the why!I am going to buy them as gifts for grandgirls, will print the Ad to enclose, plus gift 4-sons, men need personal care option educated.Gifts work better than talk.This purchase is a keeper. I bought this as a substitute for a more expensive konjac sponge I used. I have so far bought two and am currently using the second. The first held up for duration you are supposed to keep it for ( two months) after that your supposed to get rid of it do to germs, lots of dead skin cells, things like that. This is a great product that holds up and does what its supposed to. It keeps my skin clear when I was having a problem with adult acne and when I start breaking out again I know it's about time to get a new one. Again, great product. Also, I love the company's customer service team, they made me laugh in the emails I got from them after I bought the product. They're actually the only reason I wrote this review because they made me laugh. Great product and company. Will definitely keep buying.

:)I have been always into using natural beauty products. I have tried sea sponges, washcloths, etc but so far I was not thrilled with any of them. Sea sponges and washcloths were too harsh on my face, and my hands just don’t really clean or exfoliate.From the time I read about this konjac sponge I got excited and decided to give it a try. I am glad I did ! It comes in dry form, you need to soak in the water until it expands, it takes a minute or two. Then it gets really soft and bubbly. I squeeze the excess water out and gently clean my face. It’s water-drop shape is great for cleaning around my eyes as well. My skin gets really soft and clean. Finally found a product that is natural and also does the job well. Oh also there is no bad smell like the other product reviews I read about, this one is odor free.

I dont want to go to all the trouble during a pandemic to return it. Maybe other's will love it, not for me though...

I have used a similar sponge before and had good luck with it. This brand is even better as it is larger than my prior sponge.

I wonder if it has some kind of weird coating on it because:1. I use these sponges twice a day and with other brands, the sponge dries out between uses, shriveling up like wrinkly styrofoam. They take about 20 seconds to rehydrate. But this brand will not dry out overnight. That's good news if you are breeding mold, mildew, and bacteria I guess. But also, even half wet, it takes a minute or more to rehydrate completely!2. The texture is much smoother than I am used to, and since you are using this to exfoliate, that is a big minus. It does exfoliate, but with other brands my skin feels porcelain smooth after use. The effect is not as pronounced here.BTW I bought this because it's in a cardboard box and I'm trying to cut out plastic. If you are too, the sponge is sealed in a thick plastic pouch inside the box.

I have combination skin that leans towards oily because I’m prone to breakouts and clogged pores. I’ve heard about konjac sponges for a while now but couldn’t get my mind around how it could work for me when I’ve tried just about everything else to normalize my skin. Well to my surprise this little guy is working. My skin flaked a little for the first 2-3 days but then it gave way to fresh, clean skin. I do wear makeup so I find that it keeps pimples from forming around my acne prone chin area. The pores in that area and in my cheeks are starting to shrink too! I also love it’s shape and slight contour which makes it easy to use in the folds of the nose. Will definitely be a repeat customer!
