It’s really fast but runs a little low compared to true temp

This Fever Digital Thermometer Medical Oral is a good quality device that is heaven send during this pandemic. This device is a pandemic necessity when you need to know your body temp and it works and it's inexpensive in comparing the digital thermometer to your neighborhood drug stores. My wife is in love with it.

Here is an actual honest review: Purchased Jan 2020 to replace the old thermometer. Finally used it during these Covid times, and found out this is the most inaccurate piece of crap. It ALWAYS says my temperature is much lower than it is. Took a reading just now, it said 96.9. Took a reading with the old thermometer which is tried and true, and it said 98.5 - glad I kept the old one. It is consistently low. Trash is where it is going, where it belongs.

Reads low temp still trying figure why

Reads low - I am a normal healthy adult and I got readings of 94, 95, 96 on two of these three thermometers. The other one was close enough (98.1) to keep the one, but the other two are not correct and are being returned.

Not always accurate

I would not purchase this again and I got mine a few months ago (in preparation for cold and flu season) and it was too late to return when I discovered it's not all that great. It reads up to one degree over or under. No rhyme or reason, it's just inaccurate. Take your temperature now, wait two minutes and take it again. You will not get the same number twice. I've never actually gotten a 98.6, but it has always been somewhere between 97.5 and 99.5. I guess if you have an extremely high fever, this would at least help, but otherwise, it's quite useless.

It is easy to us.e and comfortable. But first it said 95F then 96.7. I realize that at this price, this is a bargain, but why bother if it's inaccurate.
