Lionel Disney Christmas LionChief 0-8-0 Set with Bluetooth Capability, Electric O Gauge Model Train Set with Remote 0.5 Liters

I ordered this train to place beneath our Christmas tree since I always wanted one as a kid. This is my first train set, so I'm not an expert but to me the quality is really good. The tracks that this set come with are great for use under my tree, where they rest on top of the tree skirt and our shag rug and the train still runs perfectly. Other sets have just regular tracks but these are flat on the bottom so they are much better at being place on uneven surfaces. I also have found the quality of the sounds really good from the chug a chug to the sound of Mickey to the whistle and the hiss when it stops. When we were first trying it out, my whole family was laughing and smiling. My five year old plays with it every day and loves it.We like using the wireless controller to control the train, it's much more fun to control the speed and and other functions with physical dials and buttons. I have used the app to adjust some of the sound settings (you can get really granular) to lower the chug a chug while making the sound effects louder. The app is OK, it looks like it was designed 10-15 years ago. It's good enough to get the job done but my only use is to adjust some settings.I would also recommend getting a power strip with an on/off switch as you are supposed to unplug the train when not in use. It's much easier to flip the switch on a power strip then unplug it every day. Also, the smoke solution that it comes with puts off a smell like a candle that has been blown out (it can get overwhelming after a while). I would go ahead and invest in a replacement that actually makes a pleasing smell (there's all kinds of options out there).My one minor complaint is the only light on the train is the headlamp on the engine. It would have been nice if the caboose windows would light up and the some of the other cars had working string lights. Everything else is nice and works really well, so I'm not taking off for that.This train is a blast and has been a really fun addition to our holiday tradition in my house. It's especially nice in the morning where my wife and I can drink our coffee while my daughter plays with the train in the other room. I definitely feel like we are making some magical memories.

I’ve really enjoyed the train. It’s well made, easy to use. My daughter loves to use the remote.I did end up ordering extra track, I understand why they don’t give you more track up front, but I would have liked more.The sound and connectivity work well enough for me. Lovely set.

Love the train. Plenty of speed. Medium noise level. Pretty good quality. Engine is mostly metal while rest of train is plastic. I tried downloading the app but the app is not designed to work with newer apple and android phones. Only works with older devices. Kinda of a bummer because there is more control with the app. In description the seller should state that because that was one of the buying points for me. Have it circling around my christmas tree.

Got these for my 10 year old grandson for Christmas. He loves it and so does his cat. Got around the Christmas tree perfectly and was played with extensively.For a toy it is well made and should last for years.

The media could not be loaded. Wonderful Lionel O Gauge Disney Train. Well packaged and in a heavy box to protect the train. Assembly easy, great features, looks great under a Christmas Tree 🎄.

Arrived in great condition. Colors are definitely bright and vibrant. Love the controller. The kids have a lot of fun with it. We turned off the smoke it’s a little intense smell for the kids. It is a louder when you have it at higher speeds. Train set is louder than your basic kids train toys so keep that in mind. Definitely would recommend 👍

I have had this for 2 months. Since getting it, the connection pieces have broke off, making the train not useable, the wheels refuse to stay on the track even when it’s just one car. The sound is horrid. It sounds like Mickey Mouse is being put in a blender, it’s way too expensive for it to have broken so fast & make with incredibly cheap quality. The styrofoam presents alone are horrid. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.
