it is a good product.
Not sure if the product is actually "Altec Lansing" as it only says "Altec" and it does not have many similarities with my Altec Lansing speaker, but it is a decent product for the price and it comes with a carrying case and other accessories. Other than questioning it's credibility, it is a good product.

I’m not sure if mine is defective but it won’t stay charged. It works only while plugged in. The sound is decent

Won’t disappoint
Already had another altec little speaker and was pleased and came across this one for like $10 and best deal ever! Hands down recommended!!

Defective power switch
The power on button was defective. I had to press hard to get it to turn on . The volume up and down buttons were easy to press. I might have just gotten one of a few bad ones. Anyway, it did sound very good and comparable to other Bluetooth speakers I own. Not much bass from a speaker this size nor should you expect that. Audio was crisp and clear. If they had built this with a slider on/off switch instead of a tactile switch, I would rate it 5 stars or at least 4 stars.

Sound isn't that nice.

2 devices stopped working after a couple weeks.
Previously gave this product a 5 star review but after buying 2 I now know why they only cost 11 bucks, they both stopped working after about 3 weeks. Save your time and get a speaker that actually works.
