Gives Tiny TVs a FULL and RICH SOUND
We tied this speaker system into our kitchen TV. I measured the TV's width and choose this unit based on other reviews before taking a chance. Good thing, this unit works flawlessly. We have a harmony remote that controls the TV and this speaker system. This system has multiple inputs but I only needed the fiber optic input. I took the fiber optic output from the LG TV and use this to feed the sound of this box.The sound has awesome base, much better than the tiny speakers on the TV itself. The unit has front sounding speakers for the high and mid ranges and a set of speakers that face downward to create deep sounding base. The sound is profile is adjustable and when it turns off it remembers its last setting for when it is turned back on so you don't have to go through multiple fields to get back to the sound you wanted. It is also harmony remote friendly, although it comes with one of those mini-thin remotes too which I can't stand.

close but had a bad speaker.
Just got this and hooked it all up. Cd player to rca and optical to tv. I first played with the tv. It wasn't that great but if I kept my tv sound on and mixed them the result was improved over just the tv. It required me to use 2 remotes but I could live with that. The problem started when I put on a cd. It sounded great for awhile then I heard a hiss at midrange. I though it might be the cd player so I hooked up Bluetooth to my ipod. Same hiss and I narrowed it down to the front right speaker. Then I put on a music channel on the tv and it sounded good. After about 3 songs there it was again, the hiss. I think it might be a faulty speaker. If this happened a year in I would have just replaced the speaker myself. But brand new out of the box it's going back. Moving on to an onkyo 5.1 with Bluetooth. I keep trying. Also a point of note, the instructions are definitely written by someone whose first language is not english. Colloquialisms are way off. Makes it hard to understand the instructions.

The sound is great and fantastic price for the money
Don't get me wrong, The sound is great and fantastic price for the money. The reason for the 3 Stars is it comes with a small remote and no controls in the platform itself. So if the remote is lost, then you are stuck and cant even switch off the system,Also they had an HDMI in slot too. Right now it has 2 RCA IN ports and it would be great if they provided a HDMI in port too .Other than that the system sound quality is awesome .

Great sound, wish for display.
Great sound, somewhat complicated to hook up. No display or controls on unit itself, and remote could be difficult to replace. There are several settings on remote but no way to tell what you have selected.

system works fine but don't ever need a remote control replaced
system works fine but don't ever need a remote control replaced. customer service almost nonexistent. Bad news is if your remote control doesn't work you can't use the system. Have been unable to get any help with replacing it. It's been frustrating. Call OSD Audio and all you get is a recording stating somebody will get back with you. Hasn't happen.

Much better
Works pretty well. Still getting used to it. Remote control is a little hard to get used to. Can't seem to see difference when we activate surround sound. Can finally hear flat screen better.

Remote
Speaker sound quality exceeded my expectations, good level of base and clear voices. I leave the unit on and control the volume through the tv. So I only need the remote if i change to bluetooth.
