fits 2008-2012 Honda Accord Sedan / 2009-2015 Pilot Key Fob Keyless Entry Remote (KR55WK49308)

I bought 2 of these for my daughter’s new used car that only came with 1 key and no fobs. I programmed them with an online tutorial to make sure they worked before getting them cut. They work great, but still need to be programmed to the car to work in the ignition. The shop had no issues cutting them and they both work great to get in on drivers side and in the ignition.I can’t attest to the longevity/durability as we just got these. I will update if there are any future issues.

Really not for honda pilot. Opens doors, does not lift tailgate gate, but it works overall.

I'm ok with buying aftermarket parts and they dont have to be identical to the oem, and thats usually a given that they arent exactly the same. But i DO expect them to work the same! THESE KEYS ARE JUNK! Not only do they FEEL cheap, but the buttons on the remote are so cheap that they either stick or you cant press them! They are Lop sided and dont sit in the key housing correctly. It's immediately apparent upon opening the bag they come in. It's so bad in fact that 1 of the keys we got was dead because the button was stuck in the pressed position. Also, NO, you cant take the remote from your honda key and put it in this key, it physically wont fit because the cavity is a different shape. We looked into that. Also, local locksmith charged us $40 to cut 2 of them, and honda wants $150 to reprogram them as there is no user key re-learn procedure for these keys. Dealer only programming or you can buy a honda magic key possibly for $50. Either way, you're gonna spend big money to get new keys for your honda, dont waste it on this crap! 0/10 would recommend. DONT BUY!!

h-kr55-4bBought these for 2008 Honda Accord 4 door sedan. Had Ace Hardware in North Webster Indiana cut 4 of them for me. They only charged $3 dollars each so 12$ total to cut 4 of these. I bought the SBB Pro2 key programmer here on Amazon also and was able to program all the new keys with it perfectly and couldn’t be happier with how it all turned out!Saved a lot of money compared to going to Honda dealer or local locksmith.Very pleased 😁Wrote this review on 8-8-23Bought the keys and programmer just last week and were all shipped within 2-3 days

I took a gamble on these not knowing about the immobilizer in my 2008 Honda accord.When I received them, I had found a YouTube video about programming the fob to be able to lock and unlock the doors. I had them programmed to my car in a matter of minutes.I had also searched ace hardware website and found that my local ace could cut the keys. They charged me $5 per key to cut them.Upon getting back to my car, the keys would start the car and it would immediately die.The keys have an rfid or something in them that the immobilizer reads, if it doesn't recognize it, the car either won't start or remain running. I needed to program that part to my car. After a quick Google search I came to the conclusion that the process to get the keys paired with the immobilizer had to be completed by a dealer or a locksmith.I called a locksmith and it took him 7 minutes to have both keys paired to the immobilizer. This cost me $95 dollars to complete.So, $30 for the keys, $10 cut, $95 dollar immobilizer pairing comes out to $135 for two extra fully functioning keys for my 08 Honda accord. Bottom line is the keys work 100%, but you have to take extra steps to get them fully functional. Surely this was cheaper than going to Honda for two extra keys to be made.

These are fine replacement keys which are much less expensive than going through a dealership.Things to know:1.) These keys will need to be cut by a mobile locksmith or some local hardware stores started adding this service. My local Ace Hardware store can.2.) These keys will need to be programmed to lock/unlock/pop rear glass on Pilot. I learned that these keys are meant for replacement of all Honda Pilots minus the Touring edition. These will not open the Power Liftgate, but rather pop the small rear glass window.3.) A mobile locksmith or dealership will need to program the key to the Pilot in order to work with the immobilizer. If this is not done, the key will turn on the car and then will turn off after a second or two.

I bought this two pack to have 2 spare keys for my 2012 Honda Accord because the car dealer mentioned I could take them in and have Battery+ cut and program them, which they can. The cost of having ONE key programed was roughly $120, so I really didn't have the cash to get them BOTH cut and programed. At least now I have a backup if I ever lose one of my keys. Also, you have to sign a waiver for keys not bought through Battery+ because there is a small chance it can wipe your system and you could be stranded.The key works perfectly. It's exactly like the original other than the fact that it doesn't have the Honda symbol on the back. I would buy again, but probably just a single key rather than 2.
