I know it's kind of weird to do a review on a tape dispenser, but I used to sell products on auction sites and used a tape dispenser religiously for packaging. This is a great modern version of the old version that really didn't work all that great. It's extremely strong and durable and it's high quality. I love the fact that it has a perfect ergonomic grip on it where you couldn't imagine it being made so solidly. The cutting blade is extremely Sharp and will cut a straight line every time. This tape dispenser is very lightweight and is absolutely a great value for the low cost. Like spoken before this is the new age of the tape dispenser, and they made it right this time. Well worth the money and I highly suggest to purchase

We've been using a regular tape gun which is difficult at best to break off pieces of tape. This device has been so handy. I work in the retail environment and need pieces of tape for different things like signage and closing up tears, etc. I highly recommend this dispenser. Would definitely buy again.Cuts well and easy to handle.

The media could not be loaded. So I just got this today and immediately tried it out since I am in the process of moving. So far it is nice. Haven't really gotten into the thick of using it, but I tested it out. Although it came in a damaged box everything seems to be ok with the device.So just a few things the small tearing blades are super sharp so be careful and if you have small children please keeps this out of reach. I did try it out on a box and it worked great. Seems to be easy to pull and the tape rolls very smoothly. Also the little parts that keep the tape in place works very well unlike those pre-rolled tape dispensers where the tape seems to always fall out of place and you now have to seach for the end again. So that doesn't seem to be an issue with this device, which makes for a smoother packing experience..So hopefully having this lil gadget makes packing a little easier than tearing or using scissors to cut the tape. I only gave it 4*s b/c I just got it. If I remember to I'll come back and update if necessary. But I do recommend the purchase if you were on the fence about it.

I have used Amazon since the early 2000s and have relied on user feedback to make my purchasing decisions. I have found that the Amazon community is right on. I have not, however, done my part to provide ratings to help others make their decisions. This is just one of many ratings that I have needed to provide. My strategy is to provide a numerical rating when there is not much more to say, except it worked as designed, was well made, and did not have any obvious flaws. I will provide more elaboration when needed to support a rating, good or bad. For this item, however, I think just a score will suffice.

I was struggling to use a Staples brand packing tape applicator--the kind that won't cut until you depress the "pressing paddle"--and was at my wits end! Spent over an hour reading reviews, etc searching for a better alternative and finally purchased the TENDO box sealer. What a little dream! I think that the 10 degree offset on the blade really does make a difference--it's not just a gimmick. No problem with the tape roll coming off and as long as I store it upside down (because the sticky side of the tape is then up) I can just grab and go! My daughter hated my old tape applicator so much that I think I'll buy her one of these just to make amends!

Is this going to change your life.......no it's not. However, for the longest time I've been using the cheap red versions that they include with tape rolls. They work, but usually over time they break, and you don't get much control over the tape. The big full size tape guns are also overkill for typical use and often the huge handle gets more in the way than it helps.This unit is clearly built for hard daily use. The biggest thing I noticed right away is it's much easier to get good tension on the tape when taping boxes because the handle also acts as a brake on the tape roll if you apply pressure. This gives you really good one handled tape tension.Is it a life changer.....no, does it make taping up boxes a significantly better time than the standard cheap free units included with tape rolls......absolutely.

I love the angled blade- it actually cuts a straight edge somehow. But it is set too far back so you have to tilt this at a severe angle to get the tape to the blade.Pulling the tape out catches on the guideposts frequently which results in wrinkles if you don’t mind that then this will be fine. I need the tape to be aesthetic, without wrinkles or mars. Very hard to get a perfect long strip of tape from this dispenser.
