I don’t actually know about the smell as I have only recently planted the bare root. It has taken very well & growing so I’m looking to the beautiful blooms it will put out & hopefully find out if it has a smell. Apart from the lovely colour which made me purchase it. I can’t believe it wouldn’t have a gorgeous smell as well. Sorry not to give a definitive answer.
