theHunter: Call of the Wild - 2019 Edition - PS4 (PS4)

We love this game!

Saw the guys at Vortex Optics playing this game so I picked up a copy. I’m happy to be able to unwind after work and explore open world maps and hunt. Nature and weather sounds are accurate and soothing. Also, helps pass the time when the brisket is on the smoker lol. Lastly, I watched actual gameplay on youtube before I made a decision.

Really love the game, but I found conflict between regions. Apparently one can run into compatibility issues between game platform, game, and any DLC’s one may wish to add to the game.I have a platform for USA region and a game (disc) made in a different region, English speaking. I downloaded a DLC from the PlayStation store and it is not compatible... I tried everything and still no work. I am hoping to be able to return this game and purchase the same game state side for my region... lessons learned I guess. I still love the game and look forward to adding to it

Very fun game, especially if you enjoy hunting and wildlife. Takes a bit to learn the game in the beginning, but once you get through it, you'll be excited getting those white tails.

Bought and returned.. It is not playable in my region.. Actually, it is playable but not DLC's work. The description did not state this at the time of purchase..I purchased elsewhere, the game is great. Love the graphics. The scenery is awesome. Animal movement is realistic.Make sure you're buying the correct game for your region!!

Had to request a refund after we didn’t receive it. I suspect that may be due to ordering around Christmas time because I usually don’t have that issue with Amazon. Also, after looking at it further, it’s probably a good thing. This is the European version, which would have caused problems using in the US anyway. I know someone else that purchased a European version of this game by accident (which is why I checked) and when they paid for all the expansion packs, after downloading the game, none of them would work. After a lot of research they figured out that was the issue. Just thought I would give heads up to other potential buyers in the US.

Hooked from the start, also great to play during off season while waiting for deer bow season to open :)Great maps, atmosphere and gameplay.If you are a hunter and appreciate everything about it you will love this!If you play COD then this aint for you.

This is the only great hunting game, it uses the Avalanche Apex engine. It runs at 1260p on my PS4 Pro and doesn’t have HDR, but it is visually stunning.
