I started using Borax 20 Mule Team with Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay in a warm bath as part of my quiet self-care time, and I’ve really come to enjoy this little routine. I usually soak for about 20 minutes, and when I get out I just feel calm, refreshed, and like I gave myself a moment to reset. I like that both products are simple, unscented, and affordable, without a lot of extra ingredients. They’ve become an easy, peaceful part of taking care of myself during busy days. Everyone’s experience can be different, but this combination has felt really nice for me, and I’d definitely buy both again.

Then the spray (let dry) and finally the Jojoba oil. I also use the spray and oil after the mask, which heals and seals your pores. Since I've been using this routine, my skin looks luminous and almost 10 years younger. I'm not joking. I've bought the most expensive products on the market and none of them compare to these which are a 1/10th of the cost. Let me know if any of you try it. I use this for a detox body mask every couple weeks. Works great if you mix with equal parts apple cider vinegar and water and apply for 30 minutes. Within 24/48 hours you look more tone and like you lost a couple pounds. It removes toxins from your body. Can be used on face as well and tightens pores! I only recommend use on face if it isn’t super sensitive. Phenomenal product!!

I am not too impressed with the Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay. I am not sure that it does a good job with deep pore cleaning. From the first use, I did not notice any significant difference in my skin's clarity and texture. It does leave my skin feeling smooth, but it does not feel nice on the skin. I think it's supposed to hydrate and moisturize my face, but again I didn't really feel a difference. It's easy to mix with water, but the results leave much to be desired. It also smells just like what it is, clay, so it feels kinda icky. My skin does not look lighter and feel tighter after every use, but your mileage may vary. If you're looking for a powerful and affordable way to detoxify your skin and minimize pores, you can give this clay mask a try.

If your skin produces more sebum than Saudi Arabia does oil, this bentonite clay mask is the way to go. Mix it with organic apple cider vinegar, and it becomes a powerhouse of extraction. It’s the LeBron James of deep pore cleansing, leaving your skin feeling clean, clear, tight, bright, and right. It’s a must-have in the beauty regimen of anyone who values a fresh epidermis.

Really nice and effective and last longer

I have been using this clay mask for years now and have never had any problems using it. My skin is a bit oily and the pores in my forehead and nose tend to make white/black dots. Every time I apply my mask (once a week), I immediately notice the beneficial effects it has on my skin. The face becomes silky and free of all impurities. WARNING This mask gives you a real deep cleansing! As indicated on the packaging, you will literally feel your face pulsating! This feeling is felt about 10 minutes after applying the mask! It tingles, it tugs, it acts! Don't worry, this feeling is completely normal! That said, as soon as you feel this "pulse", remember to remove your mask or your face will turn red. This redness normally disappears within 30 minutes of removing the mask. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE 1) I mix the clay powder with cider vinegar in equal parts (1:1). 2) I apply the mixture on my face with a make-up brush avoiding the mouth and eye contour. 3) I leave the mask on for 15 minutes (or until I feel it "pulsating"), then I remove it with a warm wet washcloth. 4) As this mask is a bit drying to the skin, I apply a serum and moisturizing cream after use. ================= Français ================= J'utilise ce masque d'argile depuis des années maintenant et je n'ai jamais eu de problème à l'utiliser. I bought this clay to make my own natural remineralizing toothpaste and also to use as a face mask. I bought the 2Lb version as it was better value than the 1Lb and it arrived packaged well with the clay was nicely filled up to the top. :) I think it's wasted packaging when you buy something that arrives in a big container only to find that there's a lot of 'air space'. First of all, it should be noted that this is CALCIUM BENTONITE clay, not SODIUM BENTONITE. Some other companies sell "Bentonite Clay" but on closer inspection, you'll realise it's sodium, not calcium. A lot of people may not realise this but it's important because it's the calcium version that has the healing and curative powers and can be safely consumed, hence used in toothpaste. This worked great! As a face mask when mixed with apple cider vinegar, you can definitely feel the tightening powers as it hardens and my skin was clearer, smoother and more toned after. Amazing. It also feels so good using only two ingredients with no preservatives. You don't need to use too much though- if I put on a very thick mask, it's pretty difficult to get off! In terms of the toothpaste, I think I need to find another recipe as my toothpaste tends to harden due to the cold but I want to stress that that's due to the coconut oil, not this clay. I feel really good using this clay to brush my teeth and have been doing it for a few months. I chose to use clay over baking soda as IMHO, it's less harsh and clay is very good at drawing out toxins in general. Sensitivity has overall decreased and my teeth feels clean and overall stronger and healthier. I can't think of any negatives except that it costs cheaper to get in America but that's besides the point. If you're wondering whether you should get it or not, it has worked perfectly for my needs and I highly recommend it!! And a container this big is gonna last me ages! :)

Its a good product, it is going to last for years and it is an amazing mask

This is my first time trying clay masks. (I started getting into skincare over the CoVID lockdowns.) I have experimented with this a lot and come to realize that it might be slightly too irritating for my sensitive skin. At least, I need to only leave it on for no longer than 10 minutes. I'll be honest, that at first, I was leaving it on for a very long time: 30, or even 45 minutes. This was too long, which i realized but I was "gung ho" or something. (Reckless!) I would try to stick to the maximum intended time of 15 minutes if you are just starting out with this. I think the long time does dry out the skin and I don't think that was ultimately healthy for my sensitive combination skin. Maybe it would be OK if I just put it on my t-zone. Anyways, what I find this really great for is for hair masks! mixing with apple cider vinegar, I put this on my hair and leave it for about an hour, then rinse out with cool water. It leaves my hair clean and extremely soft. This is especially useful for anyone looking to transition toward "No Shampoo," because I have been able to use it once every 1-2 weeks and my hair has been very clean and actually in the best condition it's ever been in, in my life. This clay is a very helpful product for bridging the transition toward no shampoo.
