Easy and apply and effective
We’ve been using this sunscreen for several years now. Really like that you can just roll it on, then easily rub in - makes it easy to apply sunscreen to my kids’ faces. Sun protection is good, but of course be sure to reapply.

Great Pregnancy Safe Sunscreen!
Unfortunately, all of my sunscreens contained chemical spf, so I needed to find a pregnancy safe product fast. This isn’t greasy, rubs in, provides protection, and doesn’t require micellar water or scrubbing to remove. No weird smell or skin/ eye irritation, either.

Good quality
One of the only sunscreens my sensitive skinned kiddo can use. A little goes a long way so it lasts a long while. It is a bit hard to rub in if your kid has dry skin though but that's pretty much expected with all sunscreens

Worth the price, ?sheer
2021 update: My family has been using this formulation for many years now. I chose it for the high (>20%) mineral content of zinc oxide, because that is the substance responsible for the sunscreen effect of this product. Unfortunately that is also the substance responsible for the white cast on the skin. Other brands typically have mineral content in amounts around 8-12% of the product. So although you may not get as white of a cast with those brands, you are also not getting as much of the sunscreen ingredient either. Another way manufacturers combat the white cast problem is to grind the minerals into ultra-fine particles: nanoparticles. There are downsides to this however: loss of UVA blockage, potential lung damage from inhalation of both manufacturing workers and users, possible coral reef and aquatic life disturbance. So, I expect and accept a mild white cast when using this because it is related to its effectiveness and probable lack of nanotization. When I care about the white cast, I use a drop or two of foundation with it. Otherwise, I leave it alone because after rubbing gently in, it’s not very noticeable. No problems with stickiness or tackiness a minute or so after applying and I’ve never had it sting my or my kids eyes probably because it stays put unlike many liquid formulas. I can also attest to its effectiveness as a sunscreen. We use it in the summertime by the beach and at the lake. In the winter and spring time we use it at 10,000 feet elevation while skiing. If we are going to be outdoors in the sun for any significant period of time, we use it then too. Does the job every time. We are diligent about reapplying after swimming or sweating. The pics I posted for comparison of stick sizes. Now go have fun in the sun...after putting on your sunscreen. ----------------------------------------------- Original post: My kid's skin is sensitive to chemical sunscreens so I get only ones made with mineral sunscreens. Sticks are much easier to apply on the face; less mess and hassle. The price of this large stick was off putting at first, but I got it because of the value in price per product; see pics. Very happily, I find it easier to apply than the smaller sticks. Takes less time to swipe on the face and anyone who has ever tried applying sun screen on the face of a child knows, less time to apply is a huge bonus!!! Same effectiveness in preventing sun burns as the smaller versions. I'm buying another one now.

Good, but hard to rub in
Works really well. I'm taking off OnStar because it's incredibly hard to get this rubbed in. It leaves a pretty noticeable White coating on your skin. But after a while it does kind of soak in. I guess it's better than the poisonous sunscreens they sell nowadays. Also the bottle is not very big!

Sunscreen Magic 🪄
So, I decided to try out the Neutrogena Sheer Zinc Oxide Kids Mineral Sunscreen, and let me tell you, it's like I've entered the world of sunscreen magic! First of all, the name "Sheer Zinc Oxide" is a bit of an oxymoron, isn't it? I mean, zinc oxide is usually associated with that lifeguard-nose-white look, but Neutrogena has managed to make it, well, kinda sheer. Applying this stuff was an adventure in itself. I felt like I was auditioning for a modern art installation as I tried to evenly spread the sunscreen. It's like finger-painting, but on my face. Picasso would be proud of my abstract face art. And let's not forget the fun of convincing my kids that they're not turning into ghost superheroes. "Hey kids, guess what? You're invisible now! Just don't try sneaking into any secret lairs, okay?" But jokes aside, the best part is that it actually works. I mean, my family and I went out on a sunny day, and we didn't return looking like we got caught in a powdered sugar explosion. No sunburns, just slightly artistic faces. So, if you're in the mood for some finger-painting fun and want to look like you've joined a secret society of sunscreen aficionados, give the Neutrogena Sheer Zinc Oxide Kids Mineral Sunscreen a go. It's like modern art for your face, with SPF protection as a bonus!

Works, but can't can't recommend
This works and it's easy to see where you've applied it because it has a whitish cast. The stick is easy to to use and it glides on fine. You can't rub it around very easily you get missed spots, you just have to swipe again. That said, it is IMPOSSIBLE to get off. This is made for little kids, it should be able to be removed with soap and water and reasonable scrubbing. I used it on myself and can't even get it off the inside of my car by the arm rest.

I love it! It is slightly light in colour but spreads very easily and invisibly covers up even small blemishes. On and around your lips, it gives some extra volume to your mouth. Around your eyes, it makes them look a little brighter. It has zinc as a natural sunscreen, no perfume or taste so that's wonderful for the skin. I do put a layer of bio-cream underneath as I get dry skin easily. It stays on well even when you swim. And last but not least: because of it's size, it fits in any bag. You understand I use it for myself and I can't live without it :) !
