Author Nana Malone weaves a story that has sassy humor, mystery and hot sex and passionate romance scenes interwoven into one heck of an entertaining read. Jessica and Eli are very different people, a mismatch that find themselves undeniably attracted to each other. Jessica is a reformed misfit whose love of tats, piercings and colored wigs had her marching to her own beat. Eli is a conservative and serious type of guy that has always been his twin brother's protector. Both have secrets and walls that they've never let anyone breakdown, that is until they meet each other. With a high profile case of art forgeries and deception comes threats ... can Eli protect his brother and still find true love with Jessica?I loved both Jessica and Eli, their chemistry was palpable and their humorous dialogue and sensual interactions kept me engaged and wanting more! Jessica is a saucy, in-your-face, tell-it-like-it-is woman, I found myself immediately liking her. As for Eli, he's simply yummy .... hot, hot, hot! I loved the development of their relationship, and I really enjoyed how the storyline alternated between their perspectives. It is so easy to get caught up in their story and the art forgery case, that before you know it the story ends leaving you wanting more!With a quirky realistic cast of characters who will keep you in stitches with their dialogue and interactions; a richly detailed setting and description of the art industry; and an engaging storyline that mixes romance and mystery; Mismatch is an enjoyable contemporary romantic comedy that will put a smile on your face.Even though I did not read the first book in the series, I feel that Mismatch can be a stand alone read, but to do it justice read the books in order. I definitely will go back and read the first book, and I look forward to reading more books from this author. I read the first book years ago and when I foubd the second one out of the blue I got excited great read. Beautiful love story!

I liked this series. It was fun and well written. I am excited to keep reading this author. Great book

Although Mismatch is standalone book, I think it is more enjoyable after reading Game, Set, Match. BUT, if you read this one first, it will make you want to buy Game, Set, Match.Eli and Samson are artistic twins. Samson is the artiste, and Eli works with the FBI and an insurance company as an authenticator. Jessica is an art dealer who wants to manage Samson's career. Eli ends up stepping in for Samson, and he and Jessica fall in love. Eli is honestly much more than either he or Jessica believe.Although this is a pretty light hearted read, you get mystery, suspense, some action, romance, heat, and lust, all wrapped up in one pretty sweet book. Eli and Jessica definitely have a spark that turns into a flame! Also, do yourself a favor and pick up Game, Set, Match.

I really enjoyed this book it was a nice time off from the first one I really enjoy when people put their books against the ordeal when I'm not in a place to read and I want to listen I can continue the book I use it to water my cleaning now instead of Music sometimes it's a really nice option. I hope to continue to listen and read more of your books you write really well it keeps my attention it makes me wonder if I'm on the right track with you or should I be looking a little bit more. I hope you are too books that are newly released will soon have or do with it so that I can get into those also they look really scrumptious continue writing thanks

Izzy's assistant Jessica is the featured heroine in this story. Jessice has a way with words and is laugh out loud funny... I love her spunky, sassy and outspoken dialogue. Her quick wit will keep you rolling on the floor holding your sides with laughter. A one night stand a gallery opening gives Jessica a thrill ride she least expected. She meets exotic twins unknowlingly. The twins- Eli and Samson switch places and twin brothers are forced into deceptive tactics to catch a thief who steals priceless art works and jewels.. The novel is fast-paced with great characters you will love.. Jessica is Delilah to one of the twins. or like crytonite to Superman. A Perefect Match Novel.

This is the 5th of Ms. Malone's books that I've read and it was very entertaining. I liked how she developed the intrigue and suspense elements with the main romance for Jessica an Eli. My only disappointment was the amount of sexual encounters described in detail. I suppose that works for some readers, and it is the point of erotica but, this was described as a "humorous, contemporary romance", not erotica. To me it became annoying and I started skimming, even skipping, through those scenes. Ms. Malone has excellent talent to weave an attention-grabbing story without needing to have to describe every, single sex scene on and on, etc. From mid- book till the end I felt these repetitions detracted from the story instead of strengthening it or further developing the characters' conflict. Nevertheless, I was kept interested enough in finding how theauthor would bring everything to its expected resolution to finish the book, and to look forward to more books in this series, if they ever come up.

Jessica Stanton, an artist manager with a flare all her own, meets Eli (who she thinks is Samson, his twin) and goes on a whirlwind sequence of events. There are a few plot twists that you couldn't see coming and can't help but to keep turning the page while trying to solve the case that Eli is working on. Though Eli isn't Jessica's "type", she can't deny the attraction and magnetism between them and takes a chance on the artist. The ending had me questioning if I had any detective skills at all, because I couldn't have guessed what happened. I can't wait to read the next book.

I have to say that I love Nana Malone's writing style. She has wit, humour and always a quite interesting story line. It is also sexy and charming, in short the perfect ingredients for a good romantic novel.

Really great book, thoroughly enjoyed staying with the same characters but from a completely different viewpoint. easy to really and very enjoyable.

Brilliant book the second book I have read from this author looking forward to the next one I downloaded 10/10 stars

Love, love, love, this series.Good plot sassy lead, & just the right mix of steam and drama and laugh out loud momments.

Have loved every one of nanas books and this one didn't disappoint. Would definitely recommend this book if u like romance with a bit of sexy mixed in.
