Wheat free, and tasty flour for people with wheat allergies!
Since I got wheat allergy, it was so hard to eat chapati. Obviously my health is more important to me so I was searching for the flour I can eat. Tried many options but in vain. No flour gave proper chapati or paranthas. Then I looked in Amazon to see if I can fin something- I came across this Swad Gluten free wheat free atta and wanted to give it a try.Wow, it was so easy to use, tastes good and I was able to make aloo Paranttha, plain paranttha etc. It’s all I buy now because it is only flour I can eat with a good taste. So I am happy with the mixture, taste and versatility of this flour.

Works well for Celiac
I have been using the swad gf atta for about an year now. If you try to knead it alone the consistency isn't the greatest. It can be little hard to manage. However the nutrition contents are really good so I am sticking with this atta. One trick that has helped me is to mix this atta with namaste all purpose gf flour. I use 2:1 swad and namaste respectively. We make aloo, mooli, gobi parantha's easily, also makes great pooris and rotis.

Gluten free chapati is possible!
Made chapatis with Rotimatic. There is no way you could make a good chapati without a Rotimatic. If you make by hand, it will crumble. Rotimatic no problem. Highly recommend if you have the machine. The flour smells gross but tastes good when cooked.

Ok flavor, something in it hurt my stomach so bad
It smells bad but tastes good but I found i had to put much more liquid to make dough than it said. Also just snacking on roti made my stomach hurt for hours, burping and pain and nausea so that I could not even eat the Masala that I made to go with it! I'm sure this is not a fault of the product, I have that reaction with unrinsed quinoa too. But this is not supposed to have quinoa? Anyway. It was fine, would have really liked it if I could eat it again.

The convince.
My hubby eats gluten free stuff. Because he is gluten intolerant. It's great, I like it my self. I make puries and rotis with it for him.

Not meant for Indian chapati/Roti
I am disappointed after trying to use this product for making chapati or roti since it disintegrates and lacks the semi firm texture required in atta to roll over and extend the shape. It actually looks and feels like a lump of wet sand that does not bind and cracks through. You have to mix it with regular wheat or all purpose flour to make it work but that defeats the thought behind the purchase.
