I purchased these to replace my cheap reading glasses. The frames are great and the features (photo- chromic, anti-glare, progression) work really well. I did have a problem with the pupil distance. This is a major consideration for progressive glasses like these - pupil distance is very important! I was having trouble with my eyes adjusting and contacted Aloha Eyewear about the pupil distance (they were very responsive). These eyeglasses are designed for a 62mm pupil distance (PD) which is pretty close for most people but not for me. My measurement is very low - 54mm. Aloha allowed me to return the stock set and for an extra $50 installed lenses that were to my prescription, which took about 3 weeks (had to get the scrip from my eye doc). I had to measure my pupil distance (eye doctors don't like to release that number unless your buying from them). There are a few ways to measure PD - search the web for how. Also - these are $10 cheaper if you purchase directly from Aloha's site. Very happy so far!!!

Finally can read at the beach!
Received 2.0's. They are working well. I am an avid salt water fisherman and have struggled with constantly needing to look far and near quickly on my boat - read navigation screen and then looking out - back and forth. Then I need to tie knots up close while making sure I don't crash into something! These worked so well I forgot I had them on. Reading at the beach is finally pleasurable again.Pro's: Good quality. I would rate the polarization as excellent. Smooth transition from top to bottom.Con's: They seem to sit away from my face further than I like. I find the very top to not be as clear as taking them off - to see long distance - thus I have not been able to use them for driving.

When I use my company eye care I have to spend over 400 dollars for the same amenities. These glasses are awesome. Clear as a bell up top and on the bottom. The frame is heavy duty but not to hwavy. Real quality. I especially appreciate a larger than normal reading area. As in how much larger it is than prescription. I will be buying my wife a pair as well because she can't keep her hands off of them.

Lens distortion, small, cheap frame
Distortion in one lens frames are small and very cheaply made. No spring hinges to allow for a larger head size. Have to send back
