SAI 7 1/2 Inch Vegetable Knife - Lightweight Japanese Stainless Steel, Razor Sharp Edge, Made in Japan, SAI-04

just Added this knife to my collection but was not impressed when it arrived, on the handle is a noticeable scuff. Everything else looks brand new but this is an expensive item and I expected it to be in perfect condition. It looks as though it was stored improperly or too close to other knifes and the result was a scuffed handle. Otherwise this knife looks too fierce, like it can handle any task you might use it for. The handle is extremely comfortable, feels great in the hand. There is an indent on the left side of the handle for your thumb and gives a lot of control of the knife. This would be the perfect knife for any right handed person.

I bought three other knives from Sur La Table and they are not rusting. This one is. They are suppose to be stainless steel? Is this one not an original Global Knife?

Really good quality and solid match to the set. who would have thought it took a different knife for working better with veggies, and it does.........now I know I needed one.

I bought it from William Sonoma. It is expensive ( well not compared to Shun Hiro or Miyabi Mizo ) but the experience of using the knife is worth the price tag. I love the knife for its agility , balance , sharpness. Great design for airflow.

These global SAI knives are so much nicer than there standard range and the handle molds to the hand beautifully unlike the sometimes hand hurting standard shape

Favorite knife by a long shot. Absolutely love the feel and weight. Contoured great and sharp. Have had it a few months now and still love it!
