Great buy, great subwoofer
Best subwoofer I ever had for a 15. Seems to work great with my Rockford fosgate t1500-1bdcp amp, even though it needs to be powered by VFL 4800.1 amp, but still a great buy.

Awesome Subwoofer
Great subwoofer. American Bass makes the best subwoofers in this price range. I put this in a T-line tuned to about 33hz. I got a Pioneer running on 2 ohms for 800 watts rms. Takes it no problem and is asking for much more. I bet this subwoofer could take 1000 or more in the right box. Totally worth the money!

Hold on to your butts
Very good subs. Bought 2 15s, got them running on a hifonics Zeus 2500w monoblock that I also got on prime for $200. Once you get these subs dialed in they are monsters (clutchfield.com has a good guide to tuning subs). The only concern I have is for my hearing, as well as the possibility of my sunroof and rear hatch window falling off, not even joking.

Not happy at all when it’s rated higher then the sub ...
Sub didn’t last a week and started making a very loud popping sound. Not happy at all when it’s rated higher then the sub it was replacing and didn’t last a week.

My rms and the speakers pretty much match and I feel like the speaker can ...
This speaker is no joke loud. I'm running the audiopipe cal-1500d and it's taking everything I can give it. My rms and the speakers pretty much match and I feel like the speaker can take even more. Very impressive. i was running a 12 p3d2 and a type r swd4(I think that's the model). This is pretty much meeting them. The ohm load was 1.47 this speaker is 2.04 so less power and the same sound but a lot better sq. I have it in the q power big box.

Really great quality for the price.
Amazing it slams hard. I have this in my 2014 Chevy Cruze and it hits really hard.

Im sooooo happy with my purchase from JB Tools! shipping imo was slow using UPS (took 5 days) with Amazon Prime but man ol man the wait was worth it. I bought only 1 sub and I put it in a Q Power SBASS15 Vented enclousre paired w/a punk a** Sony Xplod 1000 watt amp; the amp has this bad boy humping at 400 rms and its seriously underpowered right now but its showing ̶h̶o̶w̶ ̶g̶r̶e̶a̶t̶ ̶A̶m̶e̶r̶i̶c̶a̶n̶ ̶B̶a̶s̶s̶ ̶i̶s̶!̶ I also have a AudioControl EpicCenter installed for songs that are virtually bass less.. Im gonna break the TNT in on this old amp and then upgrade to something in the neighborhood of 1200 RMS and really give it a beating. The highs [surprisingly] on this 15 hit very hard and punchy and the lows of course are ridiculous. Even on this baby amp I made a passenger in the front seat tap out... If your skeptical about the purchase I understand, so was I but I promise you will be far from disappointed.*EDIT* AS of October 10, 2017I have installed a new amp the Hifonics ZXX-3200.1D and it pounds seriously.XS Power battery 750 Kit along with a AudioControl Epic center with 15 hz chip this total setup was less than 800 bucks and sounds amazing. (Right under the American Bass Logo)This clanking noise can be heard on soft or hard beats. Short or long wave doesn't matter. The odd thing about it is it still thumps really hard. So maybe it can be repaired??? For now Im dropping my 5 Star review to 3. For these two reasons.1. Im doing this because I've read online American Bass doesn't honor their warranty for any of their products purchased online. All items must have been purchased from a brick and mortar authorized dealer. So i'll give JB Tools a buzz and see what they will do about it.Im pretty sure neither will help me so i'll probably will be just out of the money for the sub.2. Im highly disappointed that this sub has failed in less than 6 months. That really shows American Bass quality isn't anywhere near JL Audio, Sundown, Skar and the likes. They may be able to make a good product just obviously doesn't stand the test of time. While I've had other brands and setups that have lasted for years.
