I purchased this for my 2008 Ford Explorer. It has been installed for about a month now and is working fine. I give it a five star rating based on the combination of price, quality, and customer support. it works, and the color image is clear. It does the job and I feel much more confident when backing. Just a few observations. First, the instructions do not explain how to hook it up if you want to connect to your reverse lights to have it on it come on when backing up. It DOES include the wiring for that. I contacted customer support and they were quick to respond. Once I figured that out, it just took me about 90 minutes to complete instillation. Taking the panel off my back hatch door to complete the wiring was the most difficult part. The surface of my dashboard would not accommodate the suction cup, And I did not want to mountain on my windshield. But there is a small, recessed tray in the dashboard above the stereo with a smooth flat surface. I used the mounting bracket and attached it to that surface with Velcro. It also takes three or four seconds for the image to appear once the car is placed in reverse. A minor inconvenience. And initially, for just a brief moment, a stock image appears before the camera image. But for $40, I think it is a good deal. I don’t know how you can manufacture a color camera, color monitor, and wiring, then package and ship it for that amount. So again, the 5 star review considers all of these factors. FOLLOW UP: Six months later and it is still working very well. The image is better than the factory installed camera in my wife's six year old Honda Odyssey.

Works great! Installed on my sxs so when I'm backing my trailer up I can see where I am going. Picture is clear and install was very very easy! You can even adjust the backup lines updown left and right! The camera has bright white reverse lights also. The cable is very hey long also.

I purchased the eRapta backup camera for my older pickup truck primarily to be able to see my cargo trailer when backing up to connect. The price was great at about $35 USD and the camera was exactly what I wanted and needed; the picture quality is perfect and easy to see and the unit is waterproof. The unit was easy to install although you do have to get under vehicle to run the wires from the bumper to cabin. Trying to find an opening in the firewall is the hardest part. Or, if you only use it occasionally like I do, simply run wires thru the bed of truck each time to connect to lighter adapter for power. One downside for me is the dashboard adapter. They provided two which work good but has to be screwed onto the display each time. I just wish that they was a "quick connect/release" snap-in where you can easily remove the display each time to not leave on your dash. eRapta did provide plenty of wiring and the unit is exactly as it appears on the website. I connected my unit and it worked great and was fairly easy to navigate the screens. When I went back to use it the next time, the display was not working. I contacted support and they were second to none! They promptly responded and they asked me to check a few things. Without any reservation, they informed me that I probably had a defective unit. Not only did they replace the display but they sent me a total new replacement within about 5 days! And unlike so many support centers, this team communicated via email quickly and clearly and could not have been more pleasant and accommodating. My replacement works great. The color and brightness are very good and easy to see. I would definitely recommend this product and Brand to anyone. And hats off to the Support team!

For the price this is perfect. Does what it's supposed to. Got it for an older model jeep I use for work so I can get in close for parking spots. Bolted mine to the license plate area, which is not centered, but I can see how close I am. I had to angle the camera to align the warning lines on the screen to make up for the spear tire, which is not visible, but now the red lines represents the tire, so I can get within a foot of an object with no issues. Easy to set up, took me about 40 minutes, including drilling the bumper and hiding the wiring under the interior panels.

When I opened the box, I was surprised at the overall size of the display. I have an older Toyota which has a very slanted front window. But i made some location adjustments, and got the camera up and working. The display is very clear, and at night it definitely works well. If there was a zoom feature it would be perfect, since the angle is very wide. But you can see a lot from all angles, but excellent clarity in all lighting conditions. I decided to move this to my other car (SUV) which has a huge dash and it is good. Then got the eRapta wireless camera with only 5" display for my Toyota. Fits excellent, and eRapta is an excellent manufacturer, so pick any model in their line, and know that you get an excellent product, definitely a good price, and good support when you have questions.

Only one of the cameras worked, otherwise this would be a 5 star review because the magnets are super strong, the monitor has a clear picture, and responsive touchscreen. The camera and monitor were 109 ft apart with a clear line of sight and kept a great connection. It's unfortunate they don't offer the opportunity to return and replace one component out of the system, in this case one camera. Also would be nice if they would sell just one single camera because I wanted to add a 3rd camera/channel and the monitor is setup to handle 4 channels/cameras.

wa sent incomplete kit - the monitor was missing. No option of gettting the missing item or replacement. Only option was to return it. To accpet return I had to guaranytee that someone would be at my apartment from 8am to 23pm to hand over to collection person

Simply perfect.. grid lines alone width we cannot extend beyond certain level. Otherwise okay
