This bag seems to be sturdy and what I wanted. It holds my computer easily along with all of my stuff. Id highly recommend it.

The price on this item seems to be changing from day to day but at the $40 range at the time of this review it is a great buy. Leather seems of good quality. Stitching is nice. Has three divided areas on the inside with some padding. More of a canvas material which should hold up a lot better than lots of the other messenger bags I have with the cloth interior. Has shoulder strap with padding which I appreciate. Has Two pockets on the outside front that buckle shut and two very narrow pockets on the sides good for pens or small items. Has zipper on the front with large pocket and a zipper on the back with large pocket. Handle on top. Wonderful leather smell. The only thing I really do not like about it is the buckle system. All the other messenger bags I have have either a magnetic strap or snap system. Buckles just take too long and as he can see from the picture the middle strap hangs out over the bag when buckled. Not a huge fan of this. Buckles may be a plus for some people on the other hand. It is definitely harder to get into for someone trying to steal your items. Other than that this is a very nice leather bag. Overall I am impressed. Does not have business card pockets or pen loops. No feet on the bottom.

In my initial review of this bag, I was impressed that you could get so much bag for your buck.After all, the leather seemed to be sturdy and of good quality, and there was detailing a plenty in the form of the many pockets and brass hardware.Unfortunately, after only about two months of use, the shortcomings of this bag have become all too apparent.Though the leather is holding up well -- but I should mention that the dye seems to come off after rubbing against light-colored clothing -- the stitching is coming undone, the lining is unraveling at junctures with the leather, and the zipper on one of the long pockets has failed.So alas, if you are looking for a leather messenger bag that will give you years of service, you probably need to look elsewhere.The last such bag I bought that gave me several years of service cost me around $120, as I recall, and you should probably budget accordingly...In conclusion, I would also like to apologize to anyone who bought this particular bag in whole or part based on my previous positive review. Perhaps your bag will hold up better than mine did.

As other reviewers noted, this is a nice bag. However, I don't believe that it is a five-star product. The primary reason for less than five stars is that the leather seems very raw and dry. It will soak up water, and anything else spilled on it, and become stained easily. The manufacturer suggests conditioning the leather with vegetable oil. This is not a very good idea, since vegetable oil can get rancid. It is much better to wipe down the leather with mineral oil. USP-grade pure mineral oil available in the pharmacy dept of your favorite drug store works like a charm. (Works great on cutting boards too!)Be aware that oiling the leather will make it considerably darker. I oiled the leather, and then coated it with neutral shoe polish. After buffing, the leather took on a nice burnished appearance. It will be much more moisture-resistant too. See images.Another reason for four instead of five stars is that the holes on the strap were crookedly and unevenly spaced, and some were not punched all the way through.All in all, though, this is a good value. The strap is very long, and will allow even a very tall person to sling the bag cross-body.

My biggest concern is the way the clips are setup. They are similar to bags that I’ve had problems with in the past, but we’re a different brand. I haven’t had an issue with them yet, but we’ll see. The leather isn’t pliable and needs broken in. It will be an amazing bag of the clips hold up and the leather softens. Not a huge fan of the embossed logo on the front, but you know that going in. The canvas inside is great and neat color. The buckles aren’t really convenient, as opposed to magnetic ones I’ve had before, but they truly buckle which is nice. If this bag holds up, 5 stars all day long.

We've been happy with this bag so far. I've already got a really nice leather laptop and business bag for myself. So my Wife claimed this one as hers, so that she could match me. Overall the quality of it is good. We really like the look, it feels like you're Indiana Jones when you carry this thing around. Seems durable, should last a long time. Only thing I'll say is that I'm not a huge fan of how the manufacturer name is so noticeable on the bag. That sort of thing is cool if you're buying a Tommy Hilfiger, not so much if you're trying to get a classy leather bag. That aside, it's pretty good. Holds everything as expected, seems designed to last.

The bag is good. It is well-stitched, and the hardware is sturdy (not spectacular but well-able to stand daily use). It looks great from a distance. My sole issue with it is the branding on the front. It's too obtrusive, which is kind of a deal-breaker for me. If you are looking for a decent bag, and don't care about that stuff, this is a good one.If you care about displaying branding, keep shopping.

This is a great looking bag - which is what I was looking for; but it was just too small for my 15" Dell laptop.If you have a smaller laptop or tablet - this will work perfectly.The bag itself is functional and the leather quality seems very good.
