Great quality
I work in an ER so carrying trauma shears is a must. Before I bought this product I would just carry the shears in my pocket, but recently they’ve made a hole in my pocket. I bought this to prevent creating anymore holes and it’s a great product. The quality on it is great and it has a clip on the back. I recommend this product for any first responders, or anyone who works in the ER

Good
I work in medical setting, from emergency room to neonatal child birth, this holder although not tested but allows my shears to stay fit and snug, i do not see any issues with it, and if you train ur arm, you can remove shears with one hand without pulling holder off your pants, use one of your fingers against the holder as you pull shears with others, you can manage it, i tested it on my scrub pants, ppl that complain it coming off havent figured out how to do it.

Very Surprised With the Build Quality
I am an Army Combat Medic and intended to use this as a sheath on my plate carrier cummerbund. Since It wasn't designed to attach to MOLLE/PALS webbing, I had to modify it. I did so by removing the metal piece and then also drilled a hole in the bottom as a tie down point. I attached it behind a general purpose pouch on my side. It provides very good retention for securing for my North American Rescue trauma shears and it is easy to insert back into the sheath. In the process of modifying the sheath, I saw truly saw how RIDICULOUSLY tough their leather is. It was a huge pain to try and cut/drill through it, which is a good thing since it shows how quality built and tough this is. Same goes for removing the metal clip as well, it was very strong metal that was difficult to cut.I felt the need to write this review since for such a cheap holster it completely blew away my expectations and felt obligated to share my experience. I have used it for the past two months and it still has great durability and just the right amount of retention for my trauma shears.

Good product.
I thought it came with shears so I felt a little tricked when it didn't, but still really good product never the less.

great scissor holder
Pro: slim/low profile. black. good quality.con: slim swiveling clip mightve better.i bought this for the bandage scissors i use at work...they fit perfectly. the angles in this sheath change the angle of the scissors so the handles are towards my back. I used to let the scissors flop around in one of the cargo pockets of my scrubs which eventually irritated my knee, now i keep them on my waist but the angle of the sheath keeps them out of the way. it requires a bit of break in but at least i know my scissors are secure. my trauma shears broke when i was on a code but i (hopefully) won't have to worry about that anymore. i was thinking a swivel clip with a lock for different positions would be a bit more useful but only if it doesn't add a lot of bulk. i like that the profile is really slim, so i wouldn't trade that in for the swivel. again great addition, would definitely recommend for the medical professional that needs a bit more organization

High quality long lasting materials, easy to use, sleek design
This is a great quality product! I have been using the endeavor medical stethoscope holder for years now and still get compliments on it from colleagues daily, so I thought I would invest in a set of trauma shear holders as well. This is great quality leather, built to last, and looks very sleek as well. It is easy to use and the trauma shears fit great! Really complements the stethoscope holder design wise so would recommend getting both to keep all of your tools of the trade right on your waist for ease of use and maximal efficiency, paramount in our profession.

You'll pull the holster off your pants with the shears
I work in the trauma bay at a hospital - there's a major design flaw - When you go to pull the shears from the holster (clipped onto scrub pants), the whole holster comes off your pants with the shears. So you can't draw your shears single-handedly, which can be kinda important when you're holding pressure on bleeding or you've got a hold of the jeans you're gonna cut with the other hand. You would have to hold the holster in place on your pants w one hand, and then pull the shears out with your other hand. Otherwise, the leather is a nice design. The shears definitely fit nice and snug in the holster (the usual 7.5" ~$15 shears) - maybe a bit too snug.If they changed the belt clip to be like the ones on pagers - Like a spring loaded hair clip you could open and close by pinching, but with a hooked lip that catches the rim of the pants - that would let me pull the shears out of the holster single-handedly without the holster coming with it. Or I don't know, maybe have a set of magnets there that snap it in place. WIthout shears in them, the leather lays flat, Maybe if they bevelled it a bit so that there's a bigger opening at the top, but it tapered to the bottom, it would still have a snug fit, but the friction wouldn't be so high that you can't pull the shears out. These are just a bunch of little design tweaks that I think would make this a great product. Would pay twice as much if it had these fixes.

Just what i was looking for
This is the best way i have found to carry my scissors. I have carried them for a few years, and have tried several ways. I use Klien electricians scissors, and this works great for them. Leather seems nice, clip is great.
