Just as advertised. If you want to add a bayonet, you'll need to dremel off some of the mount underneath where the bayonet sits on the 590A1. I didn't mark it down as I knew that before buying.

This mount is awesome. The mossberg 590/a1 with bayonet lugs were designed to fit the original m7 bayonet. The modern m7b, m9, OKC 3s won't fit because they are all slightly longer then the original. This mount fixes that problem.This mount works excellent as a non-rotating QD mount, has a ball detent like the magazine tube so it locks the cap in place, and works as an excellent spacer to fit any bayonet you want.*only thing you need to do is file off a little bit of material on the underside of the mount so that the bayonet handle has enough room to slide on*

Put it on my Remington T14.It fits just fine! It's made for the mossberg 590. Work great.

Despite the product description saying that this item would fit both the Mossberg 590 and 500, it’s too large for the 500. When it’s placed on the magazine tube, there’s nothing to keep it stable and prevent it from sliding around. The sling adapter itself does feel solid and well made, otherwise.

The media could not be loaded. I believe this product is designed for the 590a1 with the thicker barrel. It will fit the 590 and the 500 with the magazine tube ratcheting cap but the contour for the barrel is not a perfect match for the 590. It creates slop and messing with it I feel like the ratcheting cap will back off as you carry it with a sling. For the money this costs I expect zero issues. I didn't want to purchase a barrel clamp/qd mount because I like tool less disassembly. If you have the 590a1 I'm sure this will be perfect. It's not perfect for anything else.

This product perfectly solves one of the most annoying thing about pump shotguns: mounting a sling. It’s effortless to install and the metal is thick and strong. It keeps the sling off to the side, preventing it from dangling out front and blocking my forend light. It seems expensive for what it does, but the price is on par with other high-quality, USA-made firearm accessories.

The unmentionable implement was knocking my kneecaps when using a single loop bungee so I gave this a try. Stays put and will not stick into your shoulder too badly. Better than anything else I have tried.
