Ehhh
This hanger was nice but it doesn't turn easily and only fits one or maybe two tank tops per hook

Cheaply made
This is a very cheaply made product. It comes as the top of a white plastic hanger (but thinner and flimsier) that you have to put it together in with the “carisole”. I thought it would hold my thin exercise tank tops. It is so cheap that a tank top barely fits. I know it is sold as a tie holder, but I would argue that even a nicely made tie would be too big for one of the arms. You get what you pay for, got it. Still almost sent it back, but it was so cheap it wasn’t worth the hassle. I’ll put a few tank tops on it and make do.

A NIFTY DESIGN - ALTHOUGH ON THE CHEAP SIDE
The twirling tie rack / hanger organizer is a great idea in a nifty design and so really caught my eye, and the price was right so I ordered it. The arrival was timely. Packaging was a bit of a letdown because it alluded to a lack of quality and was somewhat smaller than expected. But hey, it only cost $4.99 ...PROS* holds ties together.* takes up little closet space.* economical.CONS* cheaply made.* does not really spin; you must hold the hanger with one hand and awkwardly turn the tie holder around to select a tie.* because of the small size and narrow space between tie holders, I question how 20 ties will fit on the rack without becoming scrunched together and perhaps causing wrinkles. There are only 8 ties (at the present) hanging on the one I purchased for my husband. I cannot see how 20 ties can all hang together at the same time without not only being scrunched together too tightly (unless all the ties are made from very, very thin material) - but when filled to capacity, it seems it would become very awkward to remove a tie without disrupting the others. ?? Time will tell.FEBRUARY 10, 2016 UPDATE: I must say that after using the twirling tie rack for a few weeks and filling it up a bit more with ties, I am a bigger fan than I was in the beginning. I still feel it could be improved (a tad wider slots for hanging ties, spin with one-handed ease, etc.) but in all fairness for the $4.99 plus tax, it is worth getting.

Twirl your ties in style for a Bargain!
I purchased 2 of these for my husbands ties. I have a wooden one that has wire extensions for the ties too and thought these would be an interesting alternative. For ties, they are fantastic! I added a couple of pictures that show what they actually look like. This is easy to put together even if you are technicallychallenged. It also is sturdy. I was afraid at the low price it would be cheap, but was pleasantly surprised! One caveat : when putting ties on this rack you need to make sure the tie has enough on both sides of the arm or it will slip off. The plastic is slick. I thought with the pegs being fixed instead of moving like the wire ones on the round wooden tie rack that the ties would stay on better. This is not accurate. The wooden tie rack has hooks around the top of the arm that you slide the tie under. However, at the price these go for...I am not complaining! I am going to get another one because I am out of space for the new ties he is getting for Christmas. He wears a tie every day, and variety is the spice of life! These allow me to keep the ties hung so I can see what he has easily. It makes keeping things neat and organized a breeze. Also the ties stay in perfect condition!

You get what you pay for.
I am left wondering just what type of ties others are using with this item since it has such high star ratings. I purchased this based on those star ratings and the price and for the first time - that rating system failed me. This, in my opinion, would be perfect for 1980's bolero ties!I bought this for my college age son so he can stop throwing his ties over the hanger bar in his closet (I am grateful that he at least attempts to hang them). I wanted something that wouldn't take up a lot of room but would also be efficient to hold the ties he needs for work. Here is my description: It has a 1 inch length from center to end with only 1/2 inch width in between hanger to the next hanger. There is just not enough room to hang 20 ties on this effectively. For example; If a mans tie is 1/4 inch in 'height' that means the next tie hanger will only fit a 1/4 inch in height (or less) tie - leaving no room in between hangers. Once you pull your tie off you set off a chain of ties all coming off. Granted, you can easily place your hand over the top of the other ties while you gently tug the tie you want but then you still will run the issue of the remaining ties crumpling underneath. The spinning action is a little forced, which is not a bad thing. You can easily see what tie you would want to use and turn the item if you use one hand to hold it in place and the other hand to turn. Since, again in my opinion, you cannot get this to hold 20 ties it shouldn't be that hard to choose one.I think this would be more effective for boys ties or hanging smaller items. I ended up putting it under my sink to hold brushes, bags and other items that use a small loop.

A little bit more versatile then advertised.
It's great. It perfectly holds my ties and I can evens spin it. It is discrete and is shipped in two pieces for much easier transport. A bonus feature I found out was I was attacked in the middle of the night by a two ninjas and the closest thing I had was the twirling tie rack. I grabbed the tie rack pushed the hook out from the tie holder and threw the tie holder like a ninja star and it impaled the first ninja blinding him. The second ninja ran at me brandishing his katana I used the hook part to catch the blade on its down swing pushed it away from my body and punched the second ninja in the throat. I quickly jumped out and ran out the house. When I returned in the morning there was no trace except for a few droplets of blood on the floor. I grabbed the pieces of the tie rack put them together and have been using it in my closest to hold a wide variety of ties and bowties to suit my mood. I actually had ot buy more to hill up the allotted space. I recommend this product.

Works, but way cheap looking.
It is cheap and works. I have been using it for years, and still does the trick; however, it is not very good looking.

This is a good product to organize your ties
This is a good product to organize your ties, and ties only. I tried putting my belts on it, and it just doesn't happen as cleanly as I would like. One belt takes up 3 hooks unless put on diagonally and then the belt is awkward. If you're only looking to hang ties on this, then it is great. It does its job well.

falls apart when loaded with ties alone
I loaded this with ties and they all fit and hung well but the part that holds the tie fell to the ground almost daily and left the hook part on my closet rack. I had to pick the ties up and reload it almost every day. Simply the weight of the ties alone pulled the device apart and found it on my floor so often i quit using it as I hated putting it back up and relaying the ties in their spots so often. Good idea but poorly put together item. Could glue it but then it wont spin and if you buy something shouldnt have have to glue it to fix it when its new.

Works good!
After more than a year of use, it is still in good condition and does the job! I bought two of these.
