Great alternative to motorized tie rack (a short and to the point review)
(For those of you who are like me and like a short and to the point review. If you are looking for lengthy details, alas that is not me :) BRIEF OVERVIEW: After my husband's motorized tie rack finally died, I was hunting for it's replacement for a very long time. I couldn't find a motorized tie rack that had good reviews, and all seemed about as bad as the one that I was trying to replace. I stumbled upon this product and gave it a try. Im glad I did! I purchased two of these, and they are working wonderfully for my husband's ties (at least so far, have had them for a few weeks now.) They are very simple and seem sturdy. Also doesn't take up a lot of space. For the price I really don't see how you could go wrong with this tie rack. WHO IS THIS PRODUCT FOR: The man who is sick of poorly constructed motorized tie racks that just wants a simple and easy to use tie rack. THE BOTTOM LINE: Would I recommend you buy this tie rack? YES!

All my hubby ties in one place - finally!
I liked this product because it was very inexpensive. For about five bucks it holds a lot of ties. My hubby's father passed away in January and before then he owned all of three ties. For sentimental value he took all of pops ties and held them in our walk in closet where they were strewn all about due to lack of a home for them. I decided since i was purchasing something to organize my shoe I should add on this item. This held over 15 ties if you double up on the hooks...Honestly I would guess over 20 as pops had 27 ties so I guess he made all of them fit on there which I am happy about because I though I would have to buy another one which I do not. The quality is not superb like a wooden hood but it is sturdy plastic, my closet rod is a wood not metal so its thicker and the hook on the tie holder went around it with no fuss. I would recommend this product, Its sturdy, worth the money, and is highly economical in comparison to all the other fancy tie boxes, motor hooks, cubicles, ect I spotted on amazon even if you purchased 3 of these you still get off cheaper.

Lasted 9 years holding 12 ties
4.5 overall. I bought this in 2016 for my husband but it has finally come to a point where it can’t hold up the ties anymore. He had 12 ties hanging on for this length of time. It now keeps loosening and dropping all of the ties.

Does the job - Good for organization
For the price, it does the job and saves space. A great start to improve tie organization Pros: Organizes my ties in my closet, in one location. Cons: Weight of ties may cause hanger from wheel to separate and fall Not easy to transport and move without ties falling Wheel does not turn easily Recommendation: Super glue wheel to Hanger to hold better stronger than clip in

Blew away expectations
I was skeptical about this product as it was so cheap and plastic. However, I have been blown away with the mix of quality and practicality this has afforded me. The rack rotates quite freely, but not too freely while also holding all of my ties quite well. I have used this product for a few months now and have not encountered any issues. I have fit the rack with an unbalanced tie set as well as filled every holder with a tie and its performance is not dminished. This product has shrunk the amount of space my ties take up and the price is absolutely unbeatable. I would recommend this to anyone who ejoys a good tie now and again!

You get what you pay for.
I am left wondering just what type of ties others are using with this item since it has such high star ratings. I purchased this based on those star ratings and the price and for the first time - that rating system failed me. This, in my opinion, would be perfect for 1980's bolero ties! I bought this for my college age son so he can stop throwing his ties over the hanger bar in his closet (I am grateful that he at least attempts to hang them). I wanted something that wouldn't take up a lot of room but would also be efficient to hold the ties he needs for work. Here is my description: It has a 1 inch length from center to end with only 1/2 inch width in between hanger to the next hanger. There is just not enough room to hang 20 ties on this effectively. For example; If a mans tie is 1/4 inch in 'height' that means the next tie hanger will only fit a 1/4 inch in height (or less) tie - leaving no room in between hangers. Once you pull your tie off you set off a chain of ties all coming off. Granted, you can easily place your hand over the top of the other ties while you gently tug the tie you want but then you still will run the issue of the remaining ties crumpling underneath. The spinning action is a little forced, which is not a bad thing. You can easily see what tie you would want to use and turn the item if you use one hand to hold it in place and the other hand to turn. Since, again in my opinion, you cannot get this to hold 20 ties it shouldn't be that hard to choose one. I think this would be more effective for boys ties or hanging smaller items. I ended up putting it under my sink to hold brushes, bags and other items that use a small loop.

A Real Problem Solver
I admit it, I like jewelry. I had a couple of wooden pieces with hooks for necklaces but they didn't hold very many and I'd have to put several one each hook. If I got more similar items I wasn't sure where I'd be able to hang them. I love this item for hanging necklaces on. I've got several now and I use them in my closet exclusively for necklaces. I appreciate how many it holds, that it swivels so I can easily find the one I'm looking for, and unlike a jewelry box it keeps them untangled. I feel it's a great value and I highly recommend it. Great product at a low cost.

This tie rack does the job really well. If you don't have a ton of ties, but only a handful like I do, this is perfect. Simple, barely any assembly required, great product.

Great concept and cheap price. On the downside, when full, the two pieces come apart quite easily. Had to glue them together, which worked for the most part, but it's an annoying thing to have to do.

Pretty basic in quality, but that's expected with the price. However it holds many ties, rotates and gets the job done.

I loaded this with ties and they all fit and hung well but the part that holds the tie fell to the ground almost daily and left the hook part on my closet rack. I had to pick the ties up and reload it almost every day. Simply the weight of the ties alone pulled the device apart and found it on my floor so often i quit using it as I hated putting it back up and relaying the ties in their spots so often. Good idea but poorly put together item. Could glue it but then it wont spin and if you buy something shouldnt have have to glue it to fix it when its new.

This is awesome and works a lot better than I thought it would. It gets a little off-balance if you have too many ties on one side, but easy to correct if you have enough ties to always keep it balanced.
