I ordered the six pack of brackets. I used a quantity of three on each side of my garage door track to hold up items in the garage that are usually on the floor taking up space. One side is holding a significant amount of lumber, metal, and PVC pipe scrap, so holding a good amount of weight without bending. I mounted the brackets to the studs in the wall, so I did not need anything but the provided screws. The screw could have been a bit longer, but they are working as seen. Brackets are thick enough gauge metal and do not bend if used as shown. Good price for the application I wanted them to fit.

Worked great for my intended use.. these shelves are simply 3/4” thick pine boards which are cut to fit, then stained and topped with a clear urethane. These Heavy Duty brackets are a true 90 degrees and do not flex. I will certainly buy more of these!

I built my own bookshelves using these brackets and 2x12 pine boards which weigh ~44lbs each. I'm using six brackets per board, so each shelf ought to support 450lbs. (Haven't tested that...). The brackets themselves seem high quality, and they ship with an abundance of anchors. I have screws left over! (Love that!) Anchor them into studs in the wall, and they're very strong.Pro tip: while I tried hard to make all six bracket level for each shelf, if you're off by a little bit (e.g., one is slightly higher up than another) it really doesn't matter. There are screw holes on the bottom (screws provided), and once you tighten those up, the shelf board is flush with all the brackets. My shelves are well-anchored into the wall and to the brackets. And those 2x12s...they're never going to sag!

I used 4 of these to put up a 5 1/2' 2" X 12" X 66" board. The install was simple. 1. locate the studs in the wall. 2. mark where you want the shelf brackets to be mounted. 3. install the shelf brackets and place the board on them. 4. secure the board to the brackets with the provided screws. NOTE: the screws provided to mount the brackets were replaced with longer screws so there was more screw in the stud. I did this because I am putting heavy appliances on the shelf like a Kitchen Aid Mixer and other things. I will be ordering more brackets to install another shelf.

If you can get these installed, they will be wonderful. But dont expect to have an easy time if your trying to install on brick. Using the instructions, It indicated on tool required that id need a 1/2" drill bit. On the instructions, It said I would need a 1/3" drill bit. Further checking online, it says I need a 1/4" drill bit. After making said 1/4" drill hole, The wall plugs were too large to fit in the hole. Upsizing to a 5/16" drill bit made the hole too big that the wall plugs would pull out. I should not that the imagery for the wall plugs on the instructions did not match what was received although they looked similar. I had to source my own hardware to mount these. Beyond that, these brackets do what they are suppose to. I was able to put 2 3/4"x6" appearance boards on them without issue.
