Great alternative to the Gear VR.
My first VR headset was a Samsung Gear VR, I ordered this as a replacement. I think overall that it's on par with the Gear VR. My Moto Z3 fits perfectly. Picture quality has far more to do with your phone than the headset. The higher the resolution of your phone and content, the better. The focus sliders work better than the Gear VR focus wheel, and the lenses don't fog up as easily. It's bulkier than the Samsung but slightly more comfortable to wear. The front lid is a bit of a pain. The only negative is it doesn't have a companion VR app. So it took some research to figure out how to use it with my phone. The Google Cardboard app wouldn't work so I had to download the DeoVR app from the Play store. And since it doesn't have it's own VR app, the remote is basically useless for viewing online and downloaded video content. It's far easier to just just the button on the headset to point and click. But overall, it's still a really good value for the money.

Very good build quality but....focus is disappointingly limited
This is an impressive headset -- as far as build quality. Everything fits tightly, it has great foam/rubber padding to protect your phone, the stop/play/pause button on the top works great. Straps are well-made and it has strong Velcro going most of the length of the straps allowing for a more precise fit.The big negative, however, is the very limited ability to focus the lenses, plus the fit on the nose gets uncomfortable fairly quickly - the shape of it pushes into the sides of your nose and feels somewhat like having a stuffed up nose. There are two sliders on the bottom (they don't move independently though). They only move the lenses left or right - but do NOT focus the image hardly at all. There are areas in the lenses that are evidently inherently blurry. Not having a clear, sharp image greatly lowers my impression of this headset.I wish I could give this a more positive rating because the overall quality exceeds other VR headsets I've tried that are in this price range. If Destek would fix the poor focusing ability, improve the lens quality - and allow for individual pupil adjustment (which some headsets costing the same do have) this headset would be a top contender in my opinion.

Not Note 10 friendly.
Not a fan. I bought this after watching many YouTube videos looking for the best one to use with my Note 10. 1. It isn't comfortable. I have to rest all of the weight of the headset on my nose to get the horizontal focus. The vertical focus is adjustable, that worked fine. 2. The conductive touch button doesn't do anything. I download about a dozen apps and it didn't work with any of them. 3. Same with the remote that came with it. It linked to my phone via bluetooth easily but that was it. They tell you to download this app or that app but none of the apps they name are in Google play store. There are similarly named apps but not the ones they name. I'm guessing that maybe it's all apps for iPhones. 4. I did get to use the headset just to take VR tours and such. There are several apps that don't need the button or the remote. And I'm not sure what I was expecting but I found that the quality of the video was not great. But this was the first and VR headset I've ever put on so I have nothing to compare it to.

Wished it would've work!
Bought the Destek v5, shipping was great. Packing looked good. Set it up according to the directions and the online video. Bluetooth worked fine with the remote.Remote didn't appear to work with Samsung G10+. The video shows it working with an older phone. Oculus VR software was only compatible with Samsung G9 or lower.I could not find a program, that works with my phone, to use with Netflix, Hulu or Prime video. That was the reason for buying this product. Work great in Oculus software.I tried several VR browsers and apps. Most didn't have any great content. Very poor videos and very basic games (ones I couldn't use because the remote didn't work). The remote works great if you want to use it for Spotify or Pandora. But as a directional and input device, it just didn't work.I'm disappointed that it didn't work guess I'll have to save up a but the Oculus VR.If you have a Samsung phone higher than a G9, I do not recommend you purchasing this product. There's a conductive button on the top of the VR goggles... It appears to have no use. It wouldn't work in any apps that needed it.Samsung G10+ did fit fine. I thought the goggles needed a good amount of adjustment to get comfortable.

It’s not really good for IPhone yet, more likely for Android phones!
Hmm. If you have an iPhone like mine, The things you can do are limited. Also, I’m lost on trying to figure out how to make the controller work with the VR apps. When it connects it just basically act as a Bluetooth wireless for music really, never got a chance to make it work on the video itself or any games for that matter, as well as there’s not much really any game at all.Head my warming - if you have motion sickness or if you get nauseous when riding in the back of the car or while using your phone in the car then I suggest don’t play anything VR that is like a racing or something.

Good introduction to VR, but not a permanent solution.
The set is a little front heavy, but if you're willing to adjust yourself every once in a while, it's fine. I haven't figured out how to get the controller working, but if you intend to use it in conjunction with VRidge (Riftcat) to play VR PC games, it works. Not as well as a Valve Index, HTC Vive, or Oculus Rift, but it works. My biggest issue is that it is difficult to add the phone to the set correctly; it isn't held in except by the hinge door, so you have to center it, or else you'll get double-vision. I understand that this headset fits many sizes of phone, but I can't help but feel that there was a way to engineer around that issue.

Its not bad at all
aside from the remote being trash this headset is great. My galaxy note 10 plus fits nearly perfectly, the button on the headset does work on my phone as well.My previous phone the note 8, I had the Samsung vr headset that went with it. That thing was mind blowing. When I upgraded to the 10 plus, this phone was no longer compatible with the old headset & Samsung decided to stop making them. I thought all was lost until I found this. When it comes to watching movies on this device, I'm blown away. As for games... not so much!

Very poor quality, cheap plastic.
Even worse, when I try to print out the return form I figured out I need approval from their side. BAD! This is against the law in Canada! This seller will be blacklisted on my end. Product is overpraised, I would not give more then 10 dollars for this.
