I have thick, long hair and these are great, they have long strong teeth to grip large amounts of hair and a strong spring to hold the grip closed , they are about 5 inches long though so more for teens and adult not little children.

It's really the sturdiest I've ever had and able to "contain" my long thick hair at the top of my head. The only downside is that you have to buy those two colours together. Note that the brown one is not like the ones you see in shops but rather red-orange, a colour suitable for brown and black hair whereas the on blond or ginger the black one looks better. Unless you swap wigs every day you can only use one of them (while being seen). Instead, other colours like turquoise or blue would be welcome.

Finally.. its been a struggle finding clips to actually hold thick hair. The money ive spent on hair clips that looked sturdy and would only hold my hair slightly clinging to my scalp and fall with any bit of movement but these clips are truly the best for thick long hair. Does what it says on the tin and the design is cute too!

Very happy with these clips. Having long, thick hair it's difficult to find hair clips of this size in the shops, and the ones I have found in recent years have not been very strong so the teeth/claws break off very easily (dropping it on the floor, putting it in a bag, putting it in my hair etc!) and I end up having to replace them every few months, which I hate as it contributes to plastic waste.Have had no such problem with these clips! They hold my hair up well and no claws have broken off and they feel pretty strong, so I'm confident these will last many years. It's also nice to have 2 different colours so I have options.

I'm really relieved to have found these hair clamps. I have very thick hair and it's currently really long, about mid-back length, thanks to having no hair cuts during lockdown. These clamps are big enough and strong enough for me to twist my hair into a knot and secure it. I often struggle to find clamps, slides, bands etc strong enough to hold all my hair, but these do the job beautifully. The colours are good too, between them they go with most outfits. I'm very happy with my purchase and will buy more.
